New (old) wheels
It's looking good with those pepperpots on it! I saw a Fantasy Green one on the 'net with those pepperpots and I liked it. Managed to find the file on my laptop too.

AnnoyingPentium's 2006 Fabia 1.2 12v Ambiente-ish
I'm probably going to seek out the uses of TMS Motor Spares in Ayr (good bunch, actually) since I'd like to have the front and rear plates matching, since it's still on the original dealer plate* (think that garage is gone now) at the back and a Glenfield's of Kilmarnock on the front. TMS did my Granda's plates on his old Grande Punto a couple of years ago when it wasn't turned into a cube. *West End Garage, EH52 5LL - if anyone has info then I'm interested.

Ah sorry, might be a fault on my part then. It's been a hell of a day but at least I'll laugh about it!

AnnoyingPentium's 2006 Fabia 1.2 12v Ambiente-ish
I ordered 55 and they arrived at 57 but you could tell the little clips on the sides were merely an afterthought and stuck on. My Grampa and I filed them back and they fit in just fine, nice and secure too.

I can assure you it wasn't intentional haha. I had a hell of a time getting those caps on in the first place as they were a couple of millimetres larger than advertised so I'm happy as is.

The rain isn't to ease off for a few days so I said "stuff it" and went out with an umbrella and the caps. Before: After: Unfortunately they don't fit over the locking wheel nut but I'll make allowances since it looks better overall. Now anyway, I'll go back to listening to a wee bit of Runrig whilst I dry off!

AnnoyingPentium's 2006 Fabia 1.2 12v Ambiente-ish
Seems to be getting chilly these days! That was taken at 08:00 yesterday morning. In other news, the covers for my wheel bolts have arrived. I shall get those fitted once it stops pouring down!

Yes, original Skoda design IIRC?

Mines is pretty cheap but seems quite reasonable if you ask me. I think all models have that so you can adjust the lights in case you have a heavy load in the rear. The trip computer type thing was an option I think for Classic spec models. Someone with more knowledge would be able to shine more of a light on it I reckon. From the exterior it looks like a Comfort to me at least, on the inside it looks like a Classic with the occasional extra. I imagine that it'll be down to the variations in specification and options from new from the factory dependant on region, of course.

Please let me know if they're any good! I'm looking for some bulbs for my Mk1.

It must have something to do with the Mainland EU specification or something as that's a Classic based on the seats and black plastic door handles. I'd hazard a guess and say that your trim levels where you are aren't the same as the ones we got here as the Classic didn't come with foglights or electric mirrors here but came with that upholstery and door handles to name a few things. Nice armrest by the way! I have the same one in my Fabia.

I thought it was, comes across similarly to the Flamenco Red of the post-facelift models (like mine). By the looks of it you've got a Comfort trim which came standard with the electric heated mirrors and fog lights over the Classic model. Air conditioning was still optional for the lower-end engine based Comforts. You'll have electric windows too if I'm not mistaken?

Nice looking Fabia there. Welcome to the forums! Is it orange or red? Better than walking

Windows 11
That's what I'm running, an i7-2600k. I got it cheap (£60ish) and it runs all the games I need it to coupled with a GTX950 I got for free off a mate.

Lane assist is dangerous
Best I did was my cycling proficiency in primary school. I got a certificate and a nice wee pin badge, does that count?

Lane assist is dangerous
Well said, that man! I agree that it's better to signal even if there's no-one there to see it. You never know if there's going to be someone you don't see due to blind spots or other reasons.

I was taught the same during my lessons, passed my test in August this year.

Looking for a Fabia VRS
What about getting a vRS without CC and getting it fitted? I don't know if that's your intentions or if that suits you but it does leave your options open.

DieselMonte's 2012 Monte Carlo Project.
That one in the grey colour looks nice. It's kind of similar to the colour I want to do my Bohemia wheels in soon!

One of my favourite Fabia colours! Looks very smart with the vRS alloy wheels on it!
