Windows 11
I've got computers of varying ages for old software. I inherited my late father's 2005 iQon desktop which runs Windows XP and is one of my favourites for sentimental reasons, a 1998 Fujitsu beige box for DOS/Windows 98 stuff, my Great Grandmother's 1995 Toshiba T2130CT too for W3.1 and 95. Probably.

Retrofit Cruise Control Skoda Fabia mk2 2007 1.4L 16v Manual Transmission.
I reckon tech1e will be able to help you here, being a former Skoda tech and that.

Why thank you. I must say that your Fab is looking swell - I have quite a soft spot for that orange colour.

Windows 11
I'm on my fourth mobo for this system now. The first and third both met a horrible death when I had two PSUs go. The second got repurposed and is going up for sale soon, and the fourth lives in the computer currently. Hoping it lasts this time

Welcome to the forums! Apologies in advance for the shameless self-plug... I know you've got a Mk2 but if you need some inspiration for things to do to your car then have a nosey at my project thread, if that takes your fancy.

Well, well, well... Fools and their money and all that... This is part one of many in the Fabia renovations, speakers for the rear. Stay tuned for fitting and the arrival of other thingies...

Hello
Welcome to the forums, Phil!

At speeds above 80km/h the power steering stop working, at consistent speeds above 110km/h some of the electronics stop working and the ABS and Braking red warning lights come on.
I didn't check mine with a multi-meter so I can't help there sadly, but possibly on a continuity setting? Yes, I used a nail file with mine on the end that connects to the body.

Have you checked your batteries' ground connection (between battery and front wing area)? Make sure it's clean. That was the issue with mine, but also check this DFM wire too - I can't provide help there, sorry. I hope you can get this sorted!

Photography Thread
Taken along the A713 near Parton last night from the window of a moving Dacia Duster. Just used my phone, a Samsung Galaxy S7 to take the photograph. I was a passenger, before anyone panics.

Very true. Nothing has ever been straightforward with mine, learned a lot though!

European Road Trip Car Advice
I haven't got an Octy so I can't provide solid advice. This thread may help a little bit, if I've read it correctly... I knew someone with a Race Blue 2.0 TDI vRS and it seemed nice externally, but I was never in it nor did I drive it. Good luck with buying one!

Suspension Service
As Wino says, check the cap. My 1.2 has the cap exposed and I imagine yours will too.

Don't have to let it hear you. The bloody things are psychic - they also know when you have money...

Stupid ME
Mine has done 55,000 miles and belonged to an older gent so everything OEM (had presumably original front discs up until May-ish) is choosing to die currently. Next on the list is some new bushes as it creaks like hell and I live in the speedbump county.

Fitted new stereo = wheel bearing needing replaced, added alloy wheels = bad ground caused electrical spasm and dodgy accelerator pedal position sensor. I believe in your theory.
