  1. I have indeed. Both threads actually! You should do something unique to it (seat retrim???)
  2. Welcome to the forums, Levi!
  3. Welcome to the forums, Phil!
  4. I didn't check mine with a multi-meter so I can't help there sadly, but possibly on a continuity setting? Yes, I used a nail file with mine on the end that connects to the body.
  5. Have you checked your batteries' ground connection (between battery and front wing area)? Make sure it's clean. That was the issue with mine, but also check this DFM wire too - I can't provide help there, sorry. I hope you can get this sorted!
  6. Okay, so if any of you people follow me on Instagram (link in signature) then you'll know I've made some purchases which will be posted on here.
  7. Taken along the A713 near Parton last night from the window of a moving Dacia Duster. Just used my phone, a Samsung Galaxy S7 to take the photograph. I was a passenger, before anyone panics.
  8. Welcome to the forums!
  9. Very true. Nothing has ever been straightforward with mine, learned a lot though!
  10. I haven't got an Octy so I can't provide solid advice. This thread may help a little bit, if I've read it correctly... I knew someone with a Race Blue 2.0 TDI vRS and it seemed nice externally, but I was never in it nor did I drive it. Good luck with buying one!
  11. As Wino says, check the cap. My 1.2 has the cap exposed and I imagine yours will too.
  12. These cars keep more tabs on you and your financial situation than the Secret Service!
  13. Don't have to let it hear you. The bloody things are psychic - they also know when you have money...
  14. Mine has done 55,000 miles and belonged to an older gent so everything OEM (had presumably original front discs up until May-ish) is choosing to die currently. Next on the list is some new bushes as it creaks like hell and I live in the speedbump county.
  15. Fitted new stereo = wheel bearing needing replaced, added alloy wheels = bad ground caused electrical spasm and dodgy accelerator pedal position sensor. I believe in your theory.
  16. Welcome to the forums!
  17. Welcome to the forums, fellow 1.2 BME owner!
  18. Welcome to the forums!
  19. I ended up with the rear view mirror coming off in my hand (leaving the bracket), you just turn it 90 degrees from centre and fit it that way - the solution I mention is on these forums somewhere.
