Hi. Thanks for the detailed reply. Initially I think it will be some subtle styling mods first. But I really liked the sound this kit adds of induction and turbo flutter. So may be that rather than remap. Any changes I make will be reversible so I will have options down the line.

Has anyone fitted one of these? I love the sound of it and it’s a logical step if I want to progress to a remap. https://www.racingline.com/air-intake-upgti-10tsi-vwr12upgt I notice they have paused shipping this due to a EMF light issue. Does anyone know if this affects Skoda’s? I’m aware I can contact them, just thought I would ask on here first.

Mk3 facelift 1.0TSI SE Drive 71 plate 5 door. Dark grey metallic. bought ex showroom but factory spec included sat nav, 16inch alloys, front and rear parking sensors. I was going to trade it in at the end of the PCP but decided to keep it. I need to refurb two of the wheels, after that I’m planning to do some minor mods and possibly more. Ideally: dechrome lowering springs upgrade headlight bulbs intake kit remap

Mk3 fabia. For some reason tonight the menu has moved from right side of the screen to left. I hate it! And why has it suddenly changed?! anyone know how to move it back? Apparently it’s a car setting rather than a CarPlay setting but I can’t find it in the menu anywhere! thanks!

It took me far too long to read and look up your username! I understand now. Nice to know this is possible. Car is currently on PCP for another 2 years but if we end up keeping it we will definitely get this upgrade.

What was the base model? Do all models have the relevant hardware and is this just software based upgrade?

I have finally got round to tidying my boot out and now my bottle of screenwash slides about everywhere. The car came with the cargo nets but I can't work out where to secure them. The big rectangular one fits on the 4 lashing points. For the smaller side one the bottom fits on the lashing points, one top hooks over the bag hook but the other top edge im not sure. I have unclipped parcel sshelf and slipped it over the peg held in place by the parcel shelf, but it doesnt look right. Any pointers on where to secure these? Thanks

I have a similar issue. I had read that you have to use Skoda sd card but it didn’t have enough space. So deleted some off it. Then found it to be write protected. So now the original sd doesn’t work. Bought a new sd, downloaded the files that the Skoda website said to according to the vin. Put on sd card and no maps found. So now without sat nav completely. What makes it worse is it’s my elderly parents car and they use the sat nav all the time! Any ideas?

Hi my parents have a 68 plate karoq that they bought second hand from main dealer a couple of years ago. passenger door has stopped opening on central locking. It has keyless entry. I went through the settings over the phone with them in case the settings had been changed. Touching the button on the door, double pressing the key etc don’t work so I suspect it is something up with the actuator or wiring for that door. has anyone else had a similar issue and is it something that is within the “reasonable lifetime” and may be done by dealer foc?

Mine is position 48. Tested with multi meter and the fact dash cam turns on and off with ignition proves it is switched too. Apparently it is for blind spot detection. Which I don’t have. But there’s a 2a fuse in the hole so who knows. The way the adaptor with the kit works limits you to positions due to the big fuses. Fits quite nicely in this position.

Just managed to fix it! If you can shake out the small clip from the bottom of the arm rest you are half way there. They push fit from the inside. I fed a small but stout piece of wire through the hole for the clip and out the bottom of the arm rest. Put a small 90 degree bend on the end and feed it through the hole in the clip to secure it. (Make sure you feed it on the right way round! Then use the wire to pull the clip up into the hole. Twist 90 degrees to release the clip. Only problem is you have to hold the handle in place and put the clip in place. So I had to drill few a small holes in the hand end to be able to pull the clip into place straight on with the handle in situ. all now sorted with a tiny hole under the handle to show for it. frustrating, awkward, difficult, but not impossible! safe to say I won’t be using the internal handle again just in case! But at least it’s back in place properly!

I keep meaning to got some time out in mine and see if I can take it apart. with the umbrellas I would go back to the dealer and ask for them. They took some out of one in the showroom for mine. Very handy to have. Check the ice scraper under the fuel flap too. Just wish I had asked for a spare wheel!

I’ve got a nextbase and wired it in myself. The cable ticks neatly under the trim and just had to be careful routing the cable behind the airbag on the a pillar. The nextbase cameras come with a clever fuse jumper that plugs into a fuse position and piggy backs the power. Original fuse then reinstalls in the jumper. Just have to find something that is switched power.

Just discovered this thread after opening my ski hatch for the first time and removing the handle accidentally. 2017 Superb estate that I’ve got on PCP. Had it just over 2 years so now out of extended warranty. I’ve got a few scuffs on paintwork and scrapes on alloys which I had planned on having touched up before giving it back but now I’m thinking I will have to get this repaired too. Once the clips for the handle fall off are they gone for good or can they be refitted? Will get the screwdrivers out this weekend and see if I can take it apart at least.
