New Octavia is on 225x45x18, so even fatter and narrower. But it also depends on the actual thread.

That's crazy. Maybe UK is getting their options changed to receive more cars, Canton option is still available in other configurators.

What does that even mean? What kind of compensation will you get? I don't see how they could change your options by just claiming "we don't have them". I ordered an RS with Canton in May and I have not received any calls or letters of the sort.

If you leave it in auto it will automatically deploy high beam if it decides the conditions are right and you go faster than 30km/h, which basically means it will always be high beam as long as there are no street lights.

I recently got an update and they told me there is no date. There is plenty of logic, car needs thousands of parts and there are many combinations possible and they have hundreds of suppliers, everyone is having issues so it becomes a mess.

Modern headlights are just bright as hell even without high-beams, it's confusing.

It's not standard, the button is just being reused for other parking assist systems.

Pretty sure it can't be adjusted. If you haven't ordered at this point I'd suggest looking at a Sportline Superb. It would have normal seats and maybe if you ordered now you could get one before 2023.

Interesting. I thought Octavia had 160mm speakers like it used to, but I guess they downsized for this generation. Also it took me two minutes of looking to figure out why your doors have no midrange speaker and only then I saw that there is no Canton logo. 🤣

Differences are extra packages on the vRS model and some other options became available. Also the available colours changed. If you spec two cars the same there would be no differences.

Does UK count in EU fleet emissions? Or not anymore?

It seems like there is a very clear priority on EV's, plug-in models and diesels, VAG doesn't want to pay any fines for fleet emissions this year.

Oh I wouldn't worry about that. They have known about this for about two years now and nothing has been done.

Also they just released a statement saying that they will heavily prioritise unfinished cars they already have instead of making new ones, so if you missed the queue like me you will probably have to wait till 2022.

Pretty sure it's only the software and it works well enough on the recent patches. Remember that there are hundreds of thousands of them already on the road.
