Petrol vRS (manual) with pano roof and Canton ordered July ‘21, delivered Dec ‘21. I’m thinking I got very very lucky.

I deliberately ordered for delivery before April ‘22 to avoid this as a mandated option. Very surprised people are wanting even more autonomous control.

My new IV vRS 245 spins hopelessly off the line... big disappointment to me after 15 years of RWD, but over 25mph it’s manageable on the clutch and throttle control

The smaller diameter rims will have tyres with higher walls, therefore comfort will be better as they literally absorb more energy (bumps!). 18” is generally a great compromise between comfort, looks/stance and handling. I personally find the vRS 19” totally acceptable for British roads.

Has also been big result for my little one who can’t see around the vRS seats! All round winner

Here in UK pano roof makes a big difference to interior light and ambiance... I will pop for ventilation most days... recent 33°+ temperatures has seen electric blind very useful in daytime

Good point … guzzling from 2 litre bottles would have me stopping every 30 mins for a hedge! 🙂

The trouble is people who have no problems don’t tend to search the internet for forums to comment! I hope those with problems are a real minority

Into my eighth month of ownership now with one minor software glitch that I fixed myself. I did ask for a dealer appointment and one was offered with a three day wait. No complaints here at all and love my car.... just kick myself every morning for not getting alcantara seats ... tho maybe I’d still been waiting for that option. I did get pano and Canton, both of which remain epic and make me smile every day

I had Skoda ones fitted on delivery of my new Octy in late 2021. I was really pleased with their minimalist and sporty design which ties in perfectly with my vRS’s styling. They’ve worked perfectly throughout 2022. Recommended

Unscientific and anecdotal evidence here in South East UK... I’ve actually started seeing one or two new Octys on the road everyday now. Until 7-10 days ago I have been the only one in 2022. Must mean something?!

Spiteful?,., just trying to turn a return on a differentiated range. Electric folding mirrors are definitely not standard across many middle of the range family cars

I got lucky too… vRS man wagon with Canton & Pano roof (UK) ordered July 21, received Dec 21. I’m not gloating, but haven’t seen any on the roads so far! FWIW I’d have accepted a 12 month wait as it really hits the spot!

I got the small - fits perfectly - silver too, and actually looks good with my silver Octy!

I use a silver Disclock on my MY21 vRS. It certainly reassures me as despite using faraday bags I’m more than a little paranoid about keyless entry signal grabbers … at least I’ve done all I can, alongside front/rear cameras with parking function too. .

My MY21 vRS wagon delivered to UK December 2021 came with virtual pedal as standard too… a nice surprise for me

Typo on p17 vRS options. ‘bind spot’ detection... clearly a subconscious reference to extreme waiting times for many?,
