  1. Recently my remote has been playing up. I sometime have to use the actual key to open the passenger door. I always seem to be able to start the car once it's open though. Will it be the remote battery or something else?
  2. I didn't realise you could set recuperation level.
  3. No, recirculation is not on. I went out just now to check. I have photos from this afternoon but the website isn't allowing me to upload them from my phone.
  4. I never said it had extended to the whole screen. The patches can grown quite big though.
  5. Also I'm not sure what the power of the 1.5 TSI is but only models with over 150bhp have independent rear suspension.
  6. TSI with have softer suspension I think. Take them both for a test drive.
  7. It's doing it today again. Set at 18⁰C, outside temp 17⁰C It's misting up the windscreen significantly so I think more than just annoying. There's clearly a fault.
  8. Sometimes I've noticed the air conditioning creates two frosty patches on the windscreen. It happened yesterday when I was driving and it was about 19⁰C outside and I had it set to 16 I think. I turned it up to 18 and it didn't defrost and I ended up having to turn it up to HI for it to go Anyone else found this? Doesn't always happen.
  9. Our company is going to gradually replace our fleet of 1.4 IVs with another make of car due to this issue. Skoda have been horrendous at dealing with it.
  10. I like my IV apart from the 12V battery problem which Skoda have been horrible at dealing with it. A few of our fleet are suffering from it now and we are replacing them with different cars due to this unreliability.
  11. That's good but a pain in the arse. It should be free to access on the app.
  12. Nothing wrong with digital records if you can find them easily. If they charge £36 a year for the app then that's no good unless you can access certain things like that on the app without paying?
  13. This is exactly why I hate the app. They're just using it to make money.
  14. A new battery should not be doing that. The problem is something else.
  15. I get a **** ton of errors like that when my 12V battery goes flat. It's getting a new 12V battery this week but I'm not convinced the battery is the problem. Sometimes when the battery is flat the car just keeps pinging up error after error. Does my head in. Skoda aren't dealing with this problem properly.
  16. Ah, I always thought it was 3 cylinder. Weird! You'd think they'd make it 3 cylinders as 500cc is supposed to be the optimum cylinder volume for fuel efficiency.
  17. Maybe just because it's a three cylinder engine
  18. My experience with dealers is you have to book a month in advance, they try to charge you to replace silly little things like wiper blades, sometimes there's no electrician working when your car is in so you need to make another appointment. Nightmare imo.
  19. I really do not understand why anyone takes a car to a dealer for a service unless it's free.
  20. I suspect my IV's discs will last about 90k miles. The regen takes care of most braking.
  21. It annoys me that the app is only free for the first year. Then you have to pay so much a year, can't remember what it was but didn't seem great value to me. They probably put settings like that on the app so that more people pay for it.
  22. Yeah I don't trust Skoda dealers. they tried to charge me something stupid to replace my rear wiper because it was making some noise. I've never noticed it making noise and even if it did I wouldn't care unless it wasn't doing its job.
  23. Anyone else think it's too small? I also don't like how it filters it if you have it on the side to the left of the satnav. I just want to see the album art! As big as you can make it!
  24. Charging to 80% is better. There's an Engineering explained video on it on youtube. I think it's this one:
