Is there an IV PHEV version?

Good question. I'm not sure if I've been offered the update yet. There was an update message a few days ago but I'm not sure what it was for as I was driving and the update messages are not easy to read fully when you're driving. I accepted it but no message to say an update installed or not. That's one thing I hate - you don't get told when something has installed. Why the hell not?

Yeah not all did because they cannot afford it. The SNP just wanted to use it to get brownie points but the additional library closures, swimming pool closures etc etc will become apparent in time.

Well my PHEV has a sticker showing E5 and E10 so I believe it can use either and would guess it can make use of the higher octane rating.

We have shell cards. They can be used at Shell, Esso, Morrisons, Gulf

Company car, they'll frown upon me using it.

When using android auto I frequently find that apps other than Google maps (which is pretty reliable) don't load properly and I have to go into my phone and, for example, start music in the music app I'm using (USB Audio Pro or Amazon Music). This usually starts the music but the screen often still doesn't load up properly in the car. An example photograph is attached. The blue circle icon on the right below Google maps icon is USB audio pro. You can see the screen portion for that app hasn't loaded at all in this case, though I have music playing with it. Does this sort of thing happen to anyone else?

It is quite handy to be able to tap the upshift paddle if it changes down too much. I need to get in the habit of doing that.

Yeah I'm not after my own mapping just improvements from Skoda to drivability. Also interested to see if anyone else agrees with me.

Yes, I just feel they could be fine tuned a bit more.

I feel that in certain situations when you press the accelerator down a bit to increase speed the gearbox kicked down too many gears for the level of acceleration you wanted, and takes too long to "realise" this resulting in you going along at higher revs than necessary for a good few seconds. Am I along in feeling this? It happens in D and S modes.

Does anyone use this app? I have it but have never used it and I've just noticed you need a "DataPlug". Are these only available from Skoda dealers? How much are they?

Hmm, I had just the Sync green and I ungreened it and the fan came on 🤷‍♂️ and now it won't go off.
