As a minimum I think you'll need to take the whole door card off and have a look inside the door. If you still have warrantee then let the dealer sort it out.
  2. Have you done anything else like changed the s-PIN? Does the app still connect to the car? If so you could try becoming the primary user again. For both of the above I think you'll need both keys. If not, then I see a trip to the dealer in your future. It is possible to do a reset with assistance from an agent on the phone, or at least this was the case 2 years ago.
  3. That will be the route I'll adopt since I failed to pay for the £355 "upgrade" (Unless I find that the power feed is already in the mirror housing!) 😄
  4. The Kamiq manual suggests a handy USB power feed up by the rear view mirror. I cannot see a USB socket anywhere in that area. It is possible I am being dim or it is possible the "feature" has been deleted. Anybody know for sure?
  5. OK, late to this party. Have you changed your privacy settings? If you have gone for max privacy "man in a hat" then you need to change to one of the less private settings. This might work.
  6. With the type of charger you have it should be safe to leave it connected for extended periods of time. It's designed to support batteries in vehicles that are not used very often. I had one years ago that I had hooked up to a rarely used sports car.

OK, a bit of thread resurrection but; We have the Kamiq and a Golf Mk8 (2021 model year). In both cases lane assist can be turned off with two button presses. For the Golf it's a secret not in the handbook. It is disabled in both cars most of the time. It does seem to have some utility on motorways where the lane markings are well defined, in other situations it is very easy for it to be confused IMHO.
  8. Back in the old days when the spacesaver was a new thing it was always a recommendation to use the space saver on the rear only. (for FWD cars) The thinking was to prevent differential wear on the driven axle. Given what is written above about the difference in diameters then this is probably good advice.
  9. It seems to have gained some functions. It auto downloaded as part of App Udates the day after I collected the car. A little later I was warned about a speed camera. You do have to pay after the free trial ends. i'll see how it goes and keeping it will depend on cost!
  10. Virtually all car systems will return control to the driver eventually. The speed limiter is no different AFAIK.

Thanks, hopefully won't need it but nice to know where it is. I bought the extended warrantee so it's the dealers problem for the next 5 years.
  12. The "coming home" lights are sensitive to the ambient light at the time the car is locked. Single press does lock the car, as has been said. Having been out a bit today, the coming home function does not work in daylight on mine. My menu setting is also for 10 seconds.

Because I'm old and to saving me crawling around looking for it does anybody know where the OBD port is? Thanks in advance.
  14. I can also endorse White Dove. Very efficient and good communications. Bit to much e-signing of documents for an older fellow like myself but I managed without too much trouble. Now I need to get some miles under the wheels.
  15. Hello, long time Audi driver decided to buy a Kamiq SE-L rather than a Q2. Only had it 2 days so I'll be asking a lot of questions.
  16. First post so be gentle. I've just bought a Kamiq SE-L and it does not have a torch, it has a 12V socket.
