  1. The Born now has the 77kWh and 'e' versions available since last weekend too. 🚗
  2. Those two statements seem to contradict each other. 😕
  3. The rear DRLs are enabled by default in some Scandinavian countries so I’m not sure that’s the reason,
  4. Just a total guess but I’ve seen similar ones that hold the felt trim to the dash metalwork. Does the Scala have felt trim?
  5. I found a supplier online that wasn't too expensive so ordered 2 X 10l. Then I saw that it said they were both going to be on back order so ditched that idea. Halfords at £20 seems to be the least problematic and at least they have some in stock - allegedly.
  6. I had difficulty with that part number online so called a local branch to be told they had none available for collection today. The price would have been just under £18 though.
  7. The Screwfix price has always been decent. Aldi has been even cheaper hence my 'amazement' at what it is now.
  8. The reason for using Screwfix is that the Toolstation price you've just quoted is twice as much. The minor problem is Screwfix don't have any! 😠
  9. It's not very often that I have to buy it but my normal port of call, Screwfix, isn't showing any on stock at anywhere local. Any recommendations for somewhere to get it from where the price is realistic too?
  10. All swapped over. 👍 You will need to update your car, preferences etc. again though.
  11. I've sent a PM regarding this.
  12. I didn’t bother driving the ID3 as the looks put me off a tad. However the Born drive wasn’t in any way bad. The last time I drove a RWD car was when I had a 5 Series and ideally I’d prefer FWD/4WD for the colder months but I honestly thought the ride was good. In no way wallowing on a variety of road surfaces - or letting the bumps transmit through to me. The car I test drove (VZ3) didn’t have a sunroof which I thought came on that spec but that wouldn’t have been my choice anyway - it would be the VZ2. No doubt, come April 1 more dealers will get their demo models registered too.
  13. Not too sure on a Mk4 I'm afraid. It could be a long press on the power button though.
  14. Previous models required a reset of the infotainment before it would start working. Worth a try to see?
  15. They are electric but you have to press the 'Rear' button to alternate the button's operation.
  16. I went out for a test drive in a Born (VZ3) today and was extremely impressed with it. Granted the steering wheel controls were a bit awkward and took some understanding but the AR heads-up display was very bright and clear (the photo doesn't really do it justice). Even though the car had 20" wheels, the ride wasn't at all bad either. Some photos.
  17. It would be helpful to know what phone you have and was there multiple ways to make the connection?
  18. I thought the Amundsen needed to have an SD card inserted to allow it to work! The links I refer to negate the need to input a VIN to get the correct software.
  19. This thread may help (or not) with the P20 and check my signature for the latest links to suitable maps. You may need a bigger SD card depending upon which maps you go for and remember that a 'standard' one won't work.
  20. Actually he did. 😉 I've never had a Huawei but wonder if the P20 was one of the phones that was pre embargo though so may have had the functionality from the beginning - unless it was subsequently removed?
  21. It's most probably an inadvertent prolonged push of the 'open' button on your fob. Do you keep your keys in your pocket at home?
  22. When I swap from winter to summer wheels I definitely don't feel the need to have my engine running.
  23. I think there is a (VCDS only?) option that would allow this but don't have it enabled in my car. No doubt others will provide a bit of meat to the bones. 👍
  24. The phone may have a setting which also enables data transfer when connected to USB - check to make sure it's set.
