It's an unfortunate fact that Briskoda can't be the be all and end all to all our members. However you can judge that people are generally willing to help if or when they are able. Therefore comments like, "Thanks for nothing" won't help to elicit a response in future. Hopefully your dilemma is sorted but please remember that Briskoda doesn't work better by adding unnecessary confrontation.

I personally think there’s always going to be specific cases like this where local enforcement has changed. Hopefully they can be picked up on subsequent map updates but in the meantime it pays to be vigilant and understand your surroundings - which should be happening as a matter of course anyway. 😉

At the risk of staying OT, I went to see the Kia Soul EV launch event today and was told that map updates are free (for 7 years?) My other VAG car (Cupra) also costs to update but I've never felt the need to use anything other than Google Maps for RTT navigation. If you want to start a thread about how bad (you perceive) that Kia cars are then please feel free to do so in a more appropriate section. 👍

If it follows the normal VAG convention then it needs activating with each journey. That's the way on my Superb too.

Create the A-C for and pick your preferred way. Then simply select a new destination (B) and you will be asked if that's a different destination or a 'via' point. The car appears to be cleverer than the OP. 😜
