Drivers door wonβt open
I remember that problem from my Octavia 2 days. What always helped me was to lock and unlock the door repeatedly, while firmly tapping under the door handle with my fist and changing its position.

CarPlay crackling issue, software update fix?
As I already mentioned in another forum, his 2022 Kodiaq no longer has long-term coding in control unit 09, the BCM. Everything there is set to 0. Additionally, please note that you cannot view the coding in any system using a VIN. Only with ODIS and server access can you perform an SVM comparison.

Okay, let's give a detailed answer. You'd have to use the ToolBox to create a dump, then decrypt the encrypted file that manages the image files. There are hundreds of individual images, and all of them would need to be replaced. A colleague of mine has a VW unit in a Seat and spent a total of three months manually replacing these individual images.

"Move selector to P position and visit workshop" after retrofitting heated steering wheel
Simply replacing the steering wheel does not change the coding of control unit 16. Of course, if you replace the control unit because you are retrofitting a heater, then the coding must be adjusted again.

Retrofit Virtual Cockpit LHD
Well, there are two options: 1) You do it the safe way. Have it installed at the dealership, submit an inquiry, wait, hope for approval, learn how to do it, remove it, and adjust the mileage. 2) You learn as a child never to listen to your parents or anyone else, so you do it yourself and stubbornly insist on your own way, which usually ends badly. (Applying the Seat dump to Skoda is a bad idea.) I opted for the second option and made things complicated for myself. Long story short, I ran into a TPI situation, meaning the control unit is fully diagnostic-capable, but the display remains dark. This often affects 2019 model years, specifically the first generation XXX920790 without an index or with index A Virtual Cockpit Generation. So, Immobilizer Generation 5A. If the software glitched, it can be fixed by flashing the complete firmware. If the software has glitched, it can be fixed by flashing the entire firmware. Long story short, I ran into a TPI issue. Then I remembered I bought a defective Kodiaq Virtual Cockpit last year with the same problem... Okay, Virtual Cockpit can only be flashed with an unlocked immobilizer... Great, I have two Virtual Cockpits, both with different VINs, of course, and I need an unlocked immobilizer... What do you do? Right, screw it, get down in the car, remove my own Virtual Cockpit, make a data dump (praying the rosary that the thing stays intact), and flash the dump to both Skoda Virtual Cockpits... What can I say, it worked perfectly. The immobilizer, CP, key, etc., were all transferred correctly. Back in the car, connected the defective "Virtual Cockpits," didn't give a damn, turned on the ignition, and started it (note: if a different VIN is detected, the ABS coding is automatically set to 0, and all basic settings of the ABS block are lost). The car started right up, the coolant temperature and fuel gauges worked immediately, the turn signals worked, etc. That means the immobilizer was completely transferred. What can I say? It worked perfectly. That means expecting a long flash this weekend.
