I fitted roof rails to my Seat, painted in glossy black... it looks much better. I would personally replace the seal underneath.

Another possible option: use a diagnostic tool to access the 5F control unit, go to basic settings, delete navigation data (this should format the navigation system's memory area), then insert a USB stick containing the navigation data.

Coding during brake conversions is always a tricky subject. If it weren't necessary, why would the OEM bother? Even the ABS control unit has a data set. Coding activates different parts of this data set. To put it dramatically, you're essentially converting the brakes from a Fiat Panda to a Porsche. The control unit, however, still operates with the Panda's data. This means that in very rare situations, which will likely never occur for some people, your entire braking behavior could go haywire. Wherever the system brakes automatically using driver assistance systems, the ABS coding anticipates a certain delay at a specific time X, which is when the system automatically activates the valve for that time.
