  1. @Binx1310 Sorry, I need to correct you. The fresh air blower, labeled V2 in the wiring diagrams, has no connection to the BCM at all. It's a LIN SUB device connected to the Climatronic system. You have the power supply directly from fuse SC14 (30 amps), which is terminal 30, as well as ground from a central ground point, both 4 mm². The LIN connection is a 0.35 mm² cross-section and, as mentioned, goes to the Climatronic. Of course, you also have a potential source of error with the blower itself, VW calls it J126, the control unit for the fresh air blower. Personally, I would simply replace the blower and control unit. Of course, the blower alone is also available.

  3. The connector looks more like a sound system connector to me.
  4. Sorry was for the Other User
  5. Sorry this is With heating for Superb 3V0419091AFBGW
  6. So, you want me to add to the list. I'd like to, but I have no idea what the part numbers are on the steering wheels I bought. I'll have to remove the airbag at the next opportunity.
  7. Of course, heated versions exist. I've even installed two of them. One with DSG in my manual transmission, because it only cost me €50 new and in its original packaging. I made that compromise. Then there's the adapter I built myself, my own version, for the correct function of the steering wheel buttons. The complete conversion, including the airbag, cost €230. I did the coding myself, of course.
  8. Just a heads-up, the immobilizer is stored in the DSG control unit. So simply swapping it out isn't possible.

  10. The clock spring is completely irrelevant. If you don't use the heating function and reuse the old airbag, the connector simply sits loose in the steering wheel. The airbag fits, but if you don't like it, that's a matter of personal taste; technically, nothing changes.
  11. Save the original long coding, and then try coding everything to 0 and see what happens.
  12. You have a Diagnostic Tool?
  13. Everything's fine, nobody needs to justify themselves here... for me, this is nothing out of the ordinary.
  14. That's right, the 9.2" from the Superb costs an average of €400.
  15. In my opinion, the setting of which filter is installed is completely irrelevant; I have never changed this coding. I just checked which Controller 8 control units I have at home. Unfortunately, I don't have any from the Superb. I tried flashing various VW, Seat, and Skoda units to the Superb, but it didn't work. Maybe I can find a cheap one with the specified hardware and software version from @JR RS I unplugged the other two connectors from Unit 08 as a test; they must have been connectors B and C. It was only accessible via diagnostics, but I could still activate and deactivate Air Care.
