Really looking forward to seeing them back on the car...
-
It looks far better than the original one, did mine a few months ago and had to wrestle the old one off... Still toying with the idea of a splitter, just can't make up my mind!
-
I'm a bit relieved someone else is experiencing what I have for the last 2 years since I got my Fabia, thought I was just being a bit paranoid... :wonder:

Thule all the way for roof mounted carriers, if you've got an expensive bike don't take the chance of using a cheap carrier which could, and probably will, mark your frame! They tend to be all lockable as standard too. I agree with Jake regarding towball carriers too, they're so convenient, loading the bike at a low height, etc and most of them tend to hinge on the towball allowing you access to the boot. I used to work at Halfords (unfortunately) for 15 oh so long years so dealt with them a fair bit running Bikeshop!

I like the Vrs badges on the new one, and I am tempted to get the grille one!

Oh dear, not a good start having the first Premier League player sent off in the first game of the season! Typical Sunderland, throwing it away!

My New Fabia after a Detail
Black-Cat replied to theandywaite's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
nice job... Any plans in the future for it? -
I was only in there yesterday and never noticed them, feel another visit is due! Picked up a handy little steam cleaner though, should be good for the carpets and seats, only £15

Is the seat momo front brace worth buying?

Forgive me if I'm missing something here but to change the OE filter you have to undo the 2 screws and lift UP the housing to get at the paper filter so all I was asking was if you could still do this with the strut fitted? -

I'm sure I read somewhere on here that you have to take it off every time you want to change your OE air filter, if so, is it a bugger to fit and remove? -
Sunderland daft I am, can't wait for the season to start and hopefully improve on last year... Oh and to give the Black and White ***** up the road a good hiding............. again.......... FTM

Black-Cat replied to Vrs_Dta's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
Me too, looks much better than the original... Easy to fit I take it? Are they pricey? -
Welcome back! Any interesting sea-shanties to tell?
-
Nice photos' Davey Makes you think doesn't it? :S

Nice! I'm another fan of those seats, I'd love to get them but £800 is a bit out of my range plus SWMBO would knock me out then kick me out I think! I fitted Eibachs on standard shocks a while ago and looks are improved 100%, handling is better too IMO! Jabba ARB next me thinks...

I thought it was really good and am looking forward to the next one! I think there's only three episodes though which is a bit of a shame!

I think I've got a bottle in the garage somewhere, I'll have to give it a whirl after that review Moggy... I'm using Mer shampoo at the minute, Bhoys were selling it really cheaply a few months back so stocked up on that as I prefer it to Megs NXT but I think I'll try the AG next time I wash her! Cheers
