I managed to give it a wash last night as the sun was not so shining, out front. Hoping to give it a quick spruce this morning, might have to cover it due to potential rain overnight. The plan is still to attend. You know this Stanford Hall is Lutterworth not Northampton. Plus there is an entry fee? It’s the torque that puts a smile on my face on the diesels. The Fab just pulls really well. I do find it very noisy in the cabin and it has quite a firming ride, as it should. I do want to go faster in it for sure. The space is small inside for the family plus there are no mod cons Bluetooth, cruise both could be sorted easily but left it standard for now. In the 280 I wish it had some of that push you back shove. You do go fast without realising it as it’s very quiet. I have become more calmer in that 280 just set the ACC on my journeys and let it do its thing. Remember it is an L&K estate maybe what it was made for 🤔

Thanks it is in fact G13 as I went to check at lunch, at the same time half a litre may not impact the strength too much if use water instead? My main concern is to understand if it could be the waterpump on the Gen 4 engines also

Thread revival time My 280 2023 came up with a coolant light warning yesterday, i think it might be on the min as opposed to max. What do we use to top up these days I have something in the garage G12 or 13 of the proper VAG stuff from TPS. On this generation of EA888.4 do these water pump issues continue to plague the TSI. I am not sure if I should call out the breakdown to check this now as I have 2 years full RS and warranty cover on this used car and its better then being stranded if it gets worse all of a sudden. PS its just under 50k on the miles. I did about 240 miles yesterday it went off on the return leg from Enfield. Once the bonnet was opened it never returned, on the drive at home when still warm it was more low level biased. Advice welcomed

Direct injection maybe needs carbon clean get them intakes etc checked. It does happen.

Sometimes if you spill some oil on top up you may get a burning smell on some cars ?

I used the same trick I have before and unplugged the battery monitor cable and I have disabled stop/start. No tools and no cost.
