Engine coolant specification
Since you have a 1.5 where the water pump is on the opposite end of the engine (unlike the 2.0 where it is on the same end of the engine), and IIRC there has only been one report on here of a water pump problem on the 1.4/1.5 engine, I think that a water pump change is unnecessary - I certainly declined it on my 1.4 when I had the cambelt replaced after 5 years.

access when battery is flat ?
I think you have crossed over LHD and RHD. In the UK we drive on the Left in Right Hand Drive vehicles, in Europe they drive on the Right in Left Hand Drive vehicles.

2021 F1 Discussion
Letting only 5 of the lapped cars through and not all of them surely isn't following the rule? Either stick with the original decision to let none of the lapped cars through or let ALL of the lapped cars through. IMHO Mercedes have a valid reason to make an appeal. Yes having the race not finishing under safety car is preferred but only if the rules have been followed.

Rain Sensing Wipers
Have you ever had the windscreen replaced, if so is it a genuine Skoda one? I found that on the minimum settings the rain sensing was so unwilling to turn the wipers on I had to click the sensitivity up.

Rain Sensing Wipers
The switch on the top of the wiper stalk changes the sensitivity setting of the rain sensing wiper, did you try adjusting that before disabling rain sensing?

MG ZS
I had a pre-facelift MG Metro Turbo like that and then a facelift one - the facelift one was a 'Friday special' which eat 3 exhausts and 3 batteries in 18 months so I part-ex'd it for a Renault 5 GT Turbo and vowed never to buy another ARG (or whatever they called themselves) car again.

@Maxyboy93Don't know what format videos you are posting but all I see is a grey box saying there is no video with a supported format and MIME type found, nothing payable

Excessive oil leak and no oil in the engine at all
Looks like a new sump, and possibly filter, to me?

Octavia mk3 2014 to 2018 headlights upgrade wiring
Halogen to LED, Bi-Xenon to LED??? You need to give more detail about what the headlights were and what you have changed them to.

SatNav help
OP has a 2015 Octavia so whether he has a MIB1 or a MIB2 (the changeover happened during 2015) will determine the newest maps available. VAG have a policy of not offering map updates for more than 5 years after the end of production, so the last maps available for a MIB1 Amundsen are 2020-2021. 2021-2022 maps are available for a MIB2 Amundsen though.

heater blowing cold one side hot the other
Sounds like a problem with one of the heater air distribution flaps, you need to get a fault code scan done as that will tell you which one.

2021 F1 Discussion
If driving standards don't improve someone is going to get seriously injured or even killed - the race stewards need to read the rule book and properly enforce it IMHO.

Several error messages
Bad wording on my part - the sensor is separate but the ring that is sensed is integral with the bearing.

Latest Infotainment version Bolero
Mostly bug fixes - but as Skoda don't publish a list of bugs or fixes or feature enhancements it's all based on owner experience.

Can high beam assist be retro fitted to my 2021 Octavia SEL with front camera?
That depends whether the feature needs a FEC (Feature Enabling Code) as well as a coding/adaptation change - VAG are making more and more features require a FEC.

Depreciation & one-off issues
Most people look at the registration plate rather than the year of registration - since it will be a 71 plate until 28th February I don't think it's worth waiting (unless you want to wait until 1st March 2022 for a 22 plate!).
-
Several error messages
Had a similar thing happen when driving through a puddle leaving the Covid vaccination centre in Barnstaple, the right rear ABS sensor had failed - and as it is integrated into the rear wheel bearing meant we needed a new wheel bearing at a cost of over £500 (hope the front ABS sensor is a stand-alone item!).

Timing belt
There are at least three different stories re cambelt change interval: - Cambelt is for life (EA211 SSP) - Change after 5 years or 50,000 miles (Skoda UK) - Check annually after 120,000 miles

what do you like and dislike about your Octavia?
I think that's a given - VAG have to have an obvious differentiation between their different marques. Compared to my previous Audi A4 Avant (actually and RS4) the Octavia Combi had much more rear passenger space and boot space but much louder road noise.

Interior light niggles
You seem to be the only person saying that any of the interior lights are monitored... It's definitely not my experience - when I changed both the door lights and the rear boot lights on a 2015 Octavia Elegance to LEDs (with no special 'CANbus' circuitry) I did no recoding and no fault codes or bulb warnings appeared.

Fuel Trim wrong?
Petrols have EGR too.
