Roof bars - what do you have?
I had Thule Wingbar Edge on my earlier Audi RS4 Avant and they were a perfect fit onto my Octavia 3 Combi - they went with the car to my ex, and I've bought Thule WIngbar Edge to fit on my current car.

Different size front and rear ?
Speedos are legally required to not under read and to over read by less than 10%, so manufacturers usually calibrate them to over read by 5-7%. Reading 70 at 66 is 6% so right in the middle of the expected range of over reading.

Insurer requests to see my v5, thoughts?
Sounds like by not talking to them you're getting even more anxious? Bite the bullet and phone them with all your questions written down is my suggestion.

Charging ever bigger batteries
It will make the demand on the most rapid chargers at e.g. motorway service areas, especially on 'big' holiday routes and days, extremely high. I wonder if the M5 services at Taunton Deane will need their own 400kV 'super grid' connection?

Delivery times?
Toyota have recently said that Land Cruiser orders in Japan can be subject to a 4 YEAR wait https://www.cartoq.com/toyota-confirms-4-year-waiting-period-for-land-cruiser-suv/

iV - Battery life tips
Other EV related posts on here have mentioned not normally charging the battery to more than 80% except when needed for a longer journey, since fully charging the battery does have an effect on reducing battery life.

Cornering lights error
Sounds like the motors that move the lights are OK, which suggests the problem is further back in the system (such as not getting steering data over the CAN bus). I think a fault scan is needed to get the details of the fault code that will have been stored.

Wireless Carplay not working
WiFi has to be enabled on the phone and whatever you need to do on the car to enable its WifI (can't help with that as I don't own an Octavia IV).

Wireless Carplay not working
Wireless CarPlay connects in two stages, initial connection is by Bluetooth then using Bluetooth a WiFi connection is negotiated which is used for actual CarPlay data transfer.

Road tax prices
My 2008 Citroen C1 was £20 (109g/km), my previous 2015Octavia 1.4TSI Elegance estate was £30 (119g/km) but my current Toyota Aygo is £155 (101g/km) and if I still had it my 2007 Audi RS4 would be £600 (329g/km).

That's a MIB2 Amundsen with DAB

SD card stuck
... more like non-removable external memory 😚

What happened?
You need to be 100% sure that none of the cars you will use a KKL cable with have CAN diagnostics for this option. Second point, cars from 2019 onwards have more complex diagnostics and need either a HEX-V2 or HEX-NET cable (the older cables such as HEX-USB+CAN simply cannot be updated to work with the new more complex diagnostics) - blame VAG not Ross-Tech for this.
-
What happened?
Been asked on the Ross-Tech forum several times recently, the simple answer is no - once a VIN is used it's permanent and cannot be removed. A VIN is only used when changes are made to coding or adaptation, reading and clearing faults or doing an Auto-Scan doesn't use a VIN.

SD card stuck
Not so - with an Amundsen there is no internal memory, the maps are read directly from the SD card which must be present at all times. The Columbus does have an internal HDD where the maps are stored.
-
SD card stuck
Just to clarify that's true only with an Amundsen (which reads the maps directly from the SD card), with a Columbus the maps are stored on an internal HDD and can be updated using any SD card.

Emission Control System Light
The lights come on as a bulb and system check - in most cases the system check can be done straight away so they go out. But the engine can't be checked until it's running, so the ECS light can't go out until the engine is running. So perfectly normal and correct behaviour.

I Hit a Satnav Not Saving Settings bug
IMHO the problem isn't damaged storage but badly written software that uses the storage not using it properly.

Kessy Key Fob
The immobiliser in the fob is totally passive, it doesn't need the fob battery to be able to start the car - as has been suggested holding the fob (with dead battery) against the Start button will start the engine and turn off the alarm. At least it did when I needed to do it earlier this year ...

Skoda octavia mk3 2017 replacement screenwash bottle
The MOT guidelines say that if headlamp washers are fitted they must work to pass the MOT, even if the car has halogen headlamps (that don't require headlamp washers) - as I found out with my Elegance which had headlamp washers with halogen headlamps.

Wireless Android Auto
AFAIK for both Android Auto and CarPlay the initial connection is via Bluetooth which is then used to negotiate and enable the WiFi connection that AA & CP use.

Michelin pilot sport 4 s
Dartmoor Prison was going to be closed next year so they been moving inmates to other establishments, so there are now more farmers etc. living on Dartmoor (mostly paying rent to the Duchy of Cornwall) now than those in the prison.
