Does the OBDEleven Soundaktor volume adjust persist across engine restarts?
Once the volume is turned down, it sticks as a "global" value. So no matter which profile you select in your car it overrides the value. At least this was for @FatWolfie in his Octavia (AFAIK this is correct FW? No sound in any profile selected)

Gearbox (DQ381) in Emergency Mode
@johnny cabbage headYou will have to take this with a pinch of salt, but I have TPI (Technical Product Information) documents for faults on some cars. The DQ200 faults far outweigh the DQ381 documents 10:1 This is anecdotal as it could also be that there are more DQ200 boxes fitted, but I believe they are tougher boxes overall myself.

The right interval for timing belt replacement on TDI190?
Don't worry, I suspect you missed the above image was for Superb I, not Superb III. I was searching to find rhe one and only 90,000km change. This was to find a match for the sticker the dealer placed on the timing belt cover. The image here for Superb III, MY2017+ Camshaft belt and pulley is 210,000km No time limit It's 120,000km for a dusty Country. Sorry if it caused confusion, it's all in the easily missed small detail

Retrofit Heated Washer Jets
More than likely yes, and sometimes if you cannot code it in, then the unit does not support it.
-
Retrofit Heated Washer Jets
Roughly... a single wire comes from J519, that is then "spliced" to feed the 2x heater washer jets with positive power. The earth wires that leave each heater washer does the same where it splices the 2x Earth wires to a single point.

Here is some guidance on reading wiring diagrams and tracking and tracing through that everyone has contributed to.

Replacement Car Battery Skoda Scala 2020 model year 1.5tsi (act) DSG
1. Is a sign of a dying battery 2. Yes, even a battery that's showing signs of failing will often start the car 3. AGM'S last 3x longer than standard, EFB roughly 2x as long as a rough indication 4. If you swap technology, Yes! 5. If the existing battery is not healthy then turning off the items won't make much difference 6. Await other members, but I can look as to what choices you have

Battery keeps going flat
I guess you're saying it has a hot start issue? As both statements cannot be right. So left overnight it's starts with no issues? You should find and test voltage of battery after at least 2 hrs rest (or each morning before you touch ignition). Whatever you decide, please be consistent in testing. The other thing that I suggest is to get a fault code reader on the car, VCDS or equivalent. Then you'll see if the car has flagged up any short to Earth faults.

Dash dimmed, dials dropped to zero on motorway.
If that's the only codes stored, then points towards power to the dash I think, or lack there of. And the other is dash of course J285, that could be a canbus comms fault. Might be idea to have clocks out and check that over. Plenty of threads on here/internet regards to both faults.

Help me with Enabling passenger mirror dip on selecting reverse
https://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/faq_2.php#2.9 2.9 What's the Work Shop Code? Every VW/Audi dealer in the world is assigned a unique Work Shop Code (WSC). Whenever certain changes are made to a control module (such as Coding or Adaptation), the factory scan tool sends its WSC information to the control module and the control module records it for posterity. VCDS will accept a WSC once on the Options Screen and it is not easily changed (contact Ross-Tech if you have entered it in error). If you enter a WSC there, VCDS will send that fixed WSC to the control modules exactly how the factory scan tools do. If you leave the WSC on the Options Screen at its default of 00000, VCDS will operate in "stealth mode". Instead of sending a fixed WSC, it will put back whatever was already in the control module. When a brand new control module is installed, it may not have any previous WSC info stored, so the default setting of VCDS of 00000 may cause the control module to reject the coding. In these cases you should enter any non-zero number with the correct number of digits (such as 12345) in the WSC field on the Coding screen. Behind your picture here, you will see an Importer and Workshop Code Yours is covered by you opening a new screen Here is where you need to grab existing information from So Importer = 790 and Workshop Code = 73430 on this example screen Then take these values and input them into your VCDS from your screen https://www.ross-tech.com/vcds/tour/option_screen.php Seen here from 12 seconds where you input the values

The right interval for timing belt replacement on TDI190?
Taken from Superb I factory maintenance... this is the only 90,000km seen in all the books Question: I used to have a CBBB engine before, can anyone guess how many km the belt is due to last?

The right interval for timing belt replacement on TDI190?
I used that part number... and it has not been used since a 2011 car I smell a rat myself from the dealer drumming up business.

Amundsen MIB2 Firmware Update
Sorry, I did lookup part number and it's definitly PQ Technisat. I don't know if you can check the storage inside the system itself, it will be locked away, my thoughts were about the SD Card media doing the firmware update, as someone had big trouble recently caused by bad card.

Amundsen MIB2 Firmware Update
Is yours 100% a PQ not ZR? Do you know if it has been hacked? Last one is either your source was corrupt, or your media is with bad sectors. I will prepare meanwhile the firmware and try to see if I have older.
