New Battery Needed??
@DonweatherYou didn't specify what engine/gearbox, but I would assume there will be an Earth strap. It sounds like one of those has come loose, and some tech will be getting a talking to. Having most likely removed for the repairs.

1.6 TDI vibration in 1200-1500 rpm range in all gears
This was part of my gearbox mount. (Not my hand) My son was driving and stalled the car (he's a learner) and he drove off, saying he was having a little trouble with gear's, but didn't have the vocabulary to explain it. We made it home, and luckily just as he parked up, it got stuck in gear. I managed to get it out of gear, and next day took it to a garage I've known for a few years. He eventually found the broken parts of the mount, I assume when he stalled it, the engine rocked up and slammed down on the loose bolts.

1.6 TDI vibration in 1200-1500 rpm range in all gears
For my engine/gearbox bolts becoming loose, I was beginning to hear noises when cornering more one direction than the other. Even if they are not visibly loose, worth a few minutes to check none are, then that can be eliminated. Other choice is to channel your inner Spielberg and create and star in your own YouTube video so we can see/hear what you do, keep it PG13 😆

Electrical issue
Plenty of forum posts about broken wires in that area, it's a weak point for sure. I dare say you may need to strip some of it back to find a broken wire, but always check the fuses first before you begin tackling the harder jobs.

1.6 TDI vibration in 1200-1500 rpm range in all gears
Truth be told there could be a range of issue's that all cause similar symptoms. I am no mechanic, but a weekend type, and not long back the bolts on gearbox mount had came loose. Your fault also is sounding the same as a DMF when they fail also, it's something I have had and know how it "feels" when driving/sounds etc, but hard to describe as you well know. You could listen to several YouTube videos of cars with failed DMF, and compare. Also my 1.6tdi has a SMF (solid mass flywheel from factory) do you know for sure yours has a DMF fitted?

Cooling Fan Constantly Over Running - Help!!
Nope, just the TPI's are not PDF. So will show how to download as PDF, then he can fill his boots.

I need Bolero Update :-)
Nope, the latest in 04xx version is 0480, but you have big risk to break your radio. So if you have 01xx 02xx 03xx and so on, you need to stick with your correct series. Yes it is possible, but not recommended by me.

I need Bolero Update :-)
I will send 0369 soon, and the above image is your update location. 5-10 minutes.

I need Bolero Update :-)
Hold down your menu/setup button for about 10 seconds to enter the engineering menu. Look for Software Train information. Post back an image.

Octavia 2010 diesel VRS auxilary water pump.
Strip back and verify the existing wire colours. Pin 1 = Negative (Brown) Pin 2 = Positive (Blue & Red) Pin 3 = Signal (Purple & Red) AFAIK should be correct if coolant pump two

Cooling Fan Constantly Over Running - Help!!
If you have erWin access, you can view a list of PR codes for your car, this will show you what it left the factory with. And is very valuable in saying exactly which part to order if there's a choice of 3-4! TPI documents are technical product information sheets about faults/issues with the vehicle, and the fix needed, very valuable information. If you're at a PC I could assist you in finding the above (remotely) and then you can "fill" your boots with tech info.

Cooling Fan Constantly Over Running - Help!!
On mobile phone, but took a little look. It does look like it is, but hopefully a few more can chime in.

Cooling Fan Constantly Over Running - Help!!
No parts in erWin. Hopefully you have a PDF printer available for all of the TPI documents. If you haven't got this already, try and get a list of your PR codes downloaded, that can match the correct parts for your car.

Online Service Record
I can see the list, but not the contents. I can look up and get a list of the service's, but as said, none of the contents. (It might be only visible when I apply an hour token)

Online Service Record
You cannot read it yourself, needs a dealer or possibly an independent garage to look this up.

TPMS Direct or Indirect
Ask your Skoda dealer, or UK Skoda (if UK) and they could provide you with a list of the PR codes for your car. One of them will tell you what's fitted. Sounds like ABS style TPMS type from your own tests.

Skoda Superb 2.0tdi Remap???
I like both your points of view, brings balance to the force. I've had boxes in the past and proper remaps too.

Infotainment Model Numbers
Yes I was wanting to confirm you have developer mode enabled and GEM available. Probably best to carry on discussion in PM.
-
Infotainment Model Numbers
Yes, it shows a history, and also the use of a MIB Toolkit to hack unit (no complaints there) Is your Developer menu still available where you can see your MIB Tools?
-
Infotainment Model Numbers
In engineering menu, you can find an update history, unless it was cleared. Firmware 0480 is by PM, but it would be nice to know the previous firmware stored.

New purchase - SOS issue again
If you have a charger then you could do a test yourself by attaching it for 2hrs or leaving for a full charge cycle (never hurt on these Mk IV's) A dealer can interrogate the Voltage inside with diagnostic equipment iirc, or check of course for fault codes. EDIT: Customer Statement The SOS LED warning light on the headliner button panel lights red.

1.6 TDI vibration in 1200-1500 rpm range in all gears
Check your engine and gearbox mounts to see if any of the bolts are loose. You may need to remove air box to view the bolts for gearbox mount.
