Look at ur windscreen - if it has a camera like this, then it's the A5 version. Open ur bonnet and look at the white sticker on top of either headlight. If it ends in "A" u have the normal Bi-xenon headlights which can do HBA. If it ends in "B", then u have SLA Bi-xenon headlights.

in Skoda terms, Dynamic Light Assist refers to High Beam Assist (HBA) or Smart Light Assist (SLA). HBA can be coded/enabled provide u have Bi-Xenon (version A) headlights and A5 Camera. SLA uses different version B of the Bi-Xenon headlights, and the same A5 Camera. which one r u referring too?

As per my comment above, u need the A5 Camera to have HBA. The light sensor at the back of the rear view mirror is no good for this purpose. No other way unfortunately.

Condensation in the headlights is normal. Don't worry about it. Don't waste ur time on it. There have been plenty of discussions about this topic in the past, if u search.

@Jaydor - u need to have the A5 Camera, and if light assist is enabled, u'll see either Light Assist or Dynamic Light Assist tick box option under Light Settings in the infotainment menu.

The Vehicle Status screen should tell u which tyre is bad. At least mine used to.

@Ootohere - with a spare tyre on, even after resetting the TPMS, the car still knows u have a spare tyre on because of the difference in rotational speed, and hence it disables the ACC. Reason for this is because ACC automatically applies the brakes to manage the speed, and since the ABS sensor knows about the spare tyre - it can't "safely" regulate the stopping power for ACC. I've personally experienced this with my Superb, when I had the spare tyre on - it would not allow me to use ACC until a full-size tyre was back on. The 02-Trans module reports the following warning:- 10657 - RPM Signal from ECU 03-ABS module reports the following 16401 - Tire Pressure Warning @JK7 - Rear shocks will not impact the TPMS. So don't fall for that one. The mk3 Superb uses the ABS sensors to determine each wheel's rotational speed - this is then used by the TPMS system to determine if a wheel is over or under inflated. If the difference (between the 4 tyres) works out to b equivalent to 4 psi more or less, then the warning will show up. U say u changed 3 out of 4 tyres - even though they're all the same brand and type, and inflated to the same pressure, the older one is more worn-out than the 3 newer tyres, and hence will always rotate at a different speed However this should not b enough to trigger the TPMS. Given u've reset the TPMS, and the warning shows up after a bit of driving, there is something more sinister happening for u. As mentioned above, the ABS sensor could b a likely suspect. Other possibilities could b the wheel hub, or the brakes binding. Either way, not a straightforward resolution for u - sorry.

R u referring to High Beam Assist (HBA)? HBA automatically dips the beam when it sees oncoming traffic, and then automatically resumes it when traffic has passed. If so, u can activate it using OBDEleven or VCDS. I can share the instructions if u want it.

No need to remove bumper. Removing the wheel arch liners gives U plenty of access behind the headlights.

Likely ur original ballast that failed had caused the imminent failure of the bulb, aka all that strobing. When changing xenon bulbs, it's good practice to change both bulbs at the same time, otherwise the new one will b off a different colour temperature to the old one. As the mentioned above - u can change to LED bulbs instead, if u can. I recently switched from xenon D3S bulbs to LED D3S bulbs (JW Speakers brand). A big improvement, plug & play. No errors or issues.

I use Mobil Super 3000 Formula V Engine Oil 5W-30. It's VW504 oil, and is used for fixed oil service intervals, every 15k KMs. I however change the oil myself, at the 6 month mark, in addition the regular 12 month service, because my car is tuned.

Usual oil temps on my 220 is between 90-95°c, in the colder months. In summer it's usually between 95-100°c. Gandalf uses 5w-30 fully synthetic oil.

There is most certainly a definite comfort increase. Many many mk3 Superb owners have switched from the the factory 235/40/19 tire to 245/40/19 tire, and have found it more comfortable. The sidewall height increases by 5 mm.

@enoktakenokta - u should never have to go into the engineering menu to update the maps. "Software Update" can either refer too maps or firmware. As @Gabbo suggested - sounds like the file structure on ur USB might b the likely suspect.

@Ole1980 - from wat I've read thus far, no it can't be coded as DRLs on the facelift Superb. They only work when the headlight low beam is on. However with the pre-facelift it is possible as its a different headlight technology altogether.
