  1. If u have Comfort in Driving Modes, than u have DCC suspension. Otherwise u will only have Eco / Normal / Sport / Individual With DCC Without DCC
  2. i have a hatch/liftback/sedan/limo Superb myself and use roof racks occasionally (during school holidays). i don't have pics of the actual mounting kit, but yes, those holes u indicated, 2x per door frame, is where the mounting kit hooks into, which the roof racks are attached too. i'm using Pro-rack roof bars, with 3x bike racks fitted on to it. easy to fit & use, and just as easy to remove. my only complaint is that i wish i got the aero version of the roof bars as these ones r noisy at speeds.
  3. highly doubt that - aftermarket downpipes won't b impacted by that cover. It has been used by many Golf R owners, which uses the same engine as the 280, so there won't b any issues with the engine being able to handle it. I haven't changed the factory intercooler pipes - the OEM ones r more than enough for Stage 1.
  4. Part numbers as follows:- 5Q0 825 236Q (x1) - front aero tray. WHT 000 729 A (x3) - hexagon socket head bolt, self-locking,(M8x20mm). 5Q0 825 229 C (x1) - Lining (cover) long length WITH heat shield material on reverse. N 038 549 4 (x4) - Black plastic push rivet A04A
  5. The centre exhaust tunnel cover is just meant to keep the under of the vehicle more flatter. The theory/claims r that all the aero combined helps with smoother airflow under the car, meaning less turbulence, cabin noise and better fuel economy. 6. Got the intercooler upgraded on Gandalf, to the IE FDS version. much larger core than the factory version. should help with the little IS20 turbo to last longer and not run out of puff so quickly. should also help with keeping the IATs down during the warm/hot summer months. whilst the car was up, i got the last of the aero under trays fitted - in this case the centre exhaust cover. Long version of the Engine undertray plus Centre Exhaust cover in place now....

  8. No increase in oil or water temps over short drives. Haven't done a long drive yet....
  9. All good, no need to beat urself up over it. I was just surprised to hear that a TSi would come fitted with the longer version! Hence was trying to figure it out. Must say, the downside to the longer version is that it needs to be removed each time an oil change is needed. It comes off easily though.
  10. u can find all the part numbers for that illustration here.
  11. U sure about that? Can u see/access ur oil pan from underneath, without removing the under tray? As far as I know this only came with particular diesel models in the VWAG group got it. The petrol models only got the short version, including the Golf R, which the Superb 280 uses the same engine/drivetrain. ....unless u have the Rough Road package which comes standard on the Scout and Alltrack models.
  12. Changed the plastic aero undertray to a longer version, which in theory should help with better airflow underneath the car. Item #1 in the Reference image below. Will b interesting to c wat it does to the engine temps, and fuel economy, if anything. Comes with a fitting kit (screws & bolts). No cutting, modifications, or special brackets required. Remove old, and put in new. Car needs to b on jacks up front, or up on a hoist. Part No.: 5Q0825236Q (has now been superceded by 5Q0825236N) Next I'm getting the centre exhaust tunnel cover too. Item# 2 in the Reference image below. The Superb has the slim/short version of it already. 5Q0825229C is the longer version. The rest of the under trays, minus #6a and #6b, my Superb already has from factory. Topside:- Underside:- Overlay comparison:- Reference:-
  13. my Superb 220 (TSi) MY17 has been averaging 8.4L / 100 km, over the past 6 yrs plus. i regularly get between 750 to 820 km per full tank, using 98 RON. most i've done is 984km on a single tank, with 0 left on the Range indicator. with a Stg 1 ECU + DSG tune, i'm no light-footed driver!!
  14. +1 I've been using Android Auto for many years now and I've never seen instructions (Waze or Google Maps) shown on the driver's centre cluster. Same deal with those who have the Virtual Cockpit. It will only ever show the built-in navigation maps and directions.
  15. lol, u can actually c the feed.....err.....motorbike in the car's front door reflection.
  16. Rolling shot of Gandalf on a Euro Club cruise, with the remnants of a P-plate (plastic) that fell off the back of a motorbike & smashed into the grille!!
  17. At my last 90k service, it was noted that the upper timing cover was sweating/misting oil, which requires a new replacement upper timing cover assembly with new seals, as well as replacing the camshaft adjuster magnet with an updated unit. In the meantime, I changed the oil filler cap on my 220 Superb to a newer revision cap (yellow bottom) as the sweating/misting oil seemed to b concentrated around the cap. Old: 06K 103 485 A New: 06K 103 485 D After a week of use, there is no more oil misting around the oil cap. Don't know if it's because the new oil cap has fresh seals/rubber, or because it is indeed a revised version, though I couldn't pick out any design changes between the two caps.
  18. @sharkys - ur missing the bits underlined.... What I did : - lifted car - Control Module 14-Adaptive Suspension - Entered security code 20103. - Go to Adaptations, Select “Adapting with deflected wheels” - Acknowledge by pressing and holding the green tick, or swipe right. - Go back to Control Module 14 - Go to Basic Settings - Select “Adapting with deflected wheels” - Start by pressing and holding the green tick, or swipe right.
  19. read the posts above!! as already mentioned by @Stunner - there is no right rear sensor, hence no readings/values. that's normal. as for the incorrect sequence error u need to follow the steps properly. summarised version:- - adapting with deflected wheels acknowledgement - run basic settings for adapting with deflected wheels - done ensure all 4 wheels r suspended simultaneously, and must b within range.
  20. +1, it's old, but not obsolete. ....also famously said by a Terminator 😉 The stuff recommended already still applies.
  21. It's easy to change out the turbo inlet elbow and pipe. The Turbo Muffler delete is a lot more tricky cause of it's location. Likewise the diverter valve cause of the bolt location. I've got an APR Turbo inlet pipe (carbon), Racingline Turbo Inlet Elbow, 034 Turbo Muffler Delete and GFB Diverter valve.
  22. Correct, it's a market thing. we're still getting the 220 here in Australia. We also still get the 280 here, instead of the 272.
  23. It's the 220 (162 kw) that is being down graded to 204 (150 kw.
  24. - Yes. No, the Arteon doesn't replace it. - Yes. The mk4 will have less shoulder room than the current mk3 Superb.
  25. No, there will definitely b 4x4 version with the mk4.
