  1. @Nudelsuppe - 3QD? I've not seen a D version before. Mine is 3Q0. Also u say ur 4B firmware was 0345.....I'm starting to think u don't have a pre-facelift Superb. Wat model year is urs? The 4B parameter file I've shared with u has been used by a few others, with success. I'm not sure why u r having so many issues.
  2. I haven't, and I don't know of anyone who has. Many have done the rear swaybar and that's a massive improvement on its own. I have the Hardrace rear swaybar on mine.
  3. agreed, its not a big improvement when compared to the likes of a rear sway bar. mine being a FWD, I found the turn in much sharper, and the steering felt tighter. as u said - it is not something u should run out and buy as a must have. i got it for a bargain price from a person who was selling their Superb, otherwise i would not have bothered with it.
  4. not sure why u flashed ur 4B module to 0286. there is no flashing required, for any of the modules. mine is the factory original 0285. also, did u change the LCM under each headlight to the 4H0 version? i'll send u shortly, via message, my admaps for 09 and 4B modules. meanwhile, below is my module versions:- Address 09: Cent. 5. I've been downloading from the Skoda Update Portal for the past 6 years - never had any issues with the zip file thus far. I have an MIB2 Columbus unit, MY17 Superb.
  6. The bottom half is strengthened by the under tray and the wheel arch liners on the sides. This is the back of the bumper.
  7. @MarkyG82 - it's the same with Skoda - direct TPMS doesn't need resetting. Indirect TPMS does. U can see the differences in the image below. With the direct TPMS, the target pressure is in brackets. If the actual drops more than 4 psi, it will alarm.
  8. I see no reason why it won't work on the mk3 Octavia. This is the coding I used to enable it on mine.
  9. Tail lights coupled with front DRLs. It also includes number plate lights. Like this.....
  10. Instead of messing with the foglights, u should activate rear DRLs, which turns on ur rear lights along with the front DRL lights. I activated mine 4-5 yrs ago. It's easy to code.
  11. Deleting the DCC shocks for regular shocks will upset a lot of other systems on ur car, like the headlights, steering, and others. It's not recommended.
  12. The speakers r riveted to the door frame. U can also see the connector in the pic.
  13. Lol, as mentioned already above - find urself a new tyre place. Ur car has indirect TPMS. It has no internal wheel sensors, and uses the ABS sensors to determine tyre pressure loss, based on rotational speed. U can swap ur tyres front to back, left right, diagonal, any way ur heart is content - the TPMS won't blink an eye lid. Even if u did have direct TPMS, i.e. with wheel sensors inside, u can still swap tyres around without any issues. I have direct TPMS in my Superb, and I've swapped the tyres around with no issues at all. The TPMS module uses relative position to determine the wheel sensor location, and adapts to suit.
  14. Yes, I'm sure. On the surface, MIB2.5 and MIB3 screens look the same. MIB2 and MIB2.5 do not use/have USB-C slots. They can't as it's a different protocol. They can only USB-A. USB-C was introduced with the MIB3 units. Hence if ur car has factory fitted USB-C ports, it's MIB3..... simple.
  15. USB-C indicates u have a MIB3 unit, not an MIB2.5.
  16. Hope ur insurance company doesn't find out u've got "defective" brake lights when a car/van/truck/bus smashes into the back of u, whilst stationary. Please please please, for the safety of others, and urself, do not medel with the brake lights behaviour!! If tail lights r too bright.....wear sun glasses during the day. They also have night glasses - wear that.
  17. its a 3 sec timer, not 30 secs. i wish it was possible to set it to 30 secs!!!
  18. +1 Comfort mode is only available on cars with DCC suspension. Otherwise it's just Eco, Normal, Sport for Driving Modes. Without DCC.... With DCC.....
  19. A few years back I had changed my factory reverse light bulbs to Auxito LED bulbs. these were step up in lighting. recently i went with a different LED bulb and it was yet again another step up!!! these r the ones i got - iilumo Flare BA15S (1156) highly recommended.
  20. They no longer fit coolant tanks with the silica bag because they changed the type of coolant being used with newer cars. The new coolant type (G12 I think) doesn't need the silica bag, which the old coolant (G13 I think) needed in order to last between service flushes. Hence why it's no longer used with newer cars.
  21. MY15 - MY16 uses different headlight electronics to MY17 - MY19. MY20 onwards is different again. Unfortunately I do not have the parameter file for 55-headlights module.
  22. I've just replied to ur personal message - with the parameter file.
  23. The factory 19s (19x8) on the Superb r equipped with 235/40/19 tyres. Mine came with Pirelli P7 Centuro tyres. They weren't bad. As already mentioned in the post earlier - they're not a cheap size, nor as readily available. A few of us have switched to 245/40/19 tyres. It's more comfortable, cheaper, and easier to source. I'm now running ContiMaxContact tyres.
  24. No, it's never happened ever since then.
  25. sadly no. front has been pulled apart. rear has been pulled apart. interior has been pulled apart. i think its just the roof liner that remains untouched!! ðŸĪŠ
