  1. Just stick a couple of masking stickers on the headlamps, then you're covered.
  2. You'll need a lot more boost to make the same numbers with a smaller, less efficient engine, more boost means more heat, more heat means more problems. I'm wasting my time sharing my experience with you, like most teenagers you already know everything anyway so knock yourself out. Good luck.
  3. Low boost indeed, you need a better intercooler or you're going to have trouble with detonation, which will wreck your engine.
  4. Then again, why bother, it may rattle but it won't skip or affect performance. Turn the radio up!
  5. You want to use a big diesel turbo on a small petrol engine? You haven't really thought this through have you, it's completely unsuitable and will probably permanently damage the 1.2 engine.
  6. Access is pretty tight but it's only three bolts from memory.
  7. Thermostat, the 1.4 16V engine doesn't blow head gaskets.
  8. You need to get under there and have a good look at what's involved, it won't be an easy job that's for certain!
  9. An engine air filter is a LOT more important than a cabin filter! You have to redline it in every gear to access the full 100 bhp effect, also thrashing it will keep it sweet and keep the cat clean. Run it on premium petrol if you want it to be reliable.
  10. Don't open it when it's hot, only when it's cold! Check the level when it's cold, if the level goes up when hot then you need a new thermostat, housing and gasket.
  11. Probably because the fans are not cutting in properly and the system is overheating after 45 minutes running. Stop staring at the computer and fix the fans!
  12. Replace the window regulator, start by removing the door card.
  13. http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/18995/P2563/009571 Work your way through the diagnostic process.
  14. My advice to you is to take it back and tell them it's pulling to the left and you want the alignment checked.
  15. Don't tell us, tell them!
  16. Blimey, what a rubbish system, it'll only tell you if the tyre is dangerously flat, proper TPMS tells you the actual tyre pressures but relies on battery powered sensors, these are the systems I've seen on more expensive cars.
  17. I strongly suspect a failing coil pack if it's a BBZ engine.
  18. Blimey, I'm only asking for the pending code because guesswork tends not to work very well. Guess I won't bother trying to help you then. Your welcome.
  19. No, the individual tyre sensors usually have tiny batteries in them which eventually go flat and cause an alarm unless yours uses some sort of voodoo magic rather than a wireless protocol similar to Bluetooth.
  20. Don't overthink this, just buy whatever you can get locally and cheaply, N/A petrol engines don't care about oil and filter brands, as long as it's semi-syn or better.
  21. You're incredibly perceptive, not much gets past you!
  22. The ABS problem has obviously cleared itself, nothing to worry about until it comes on again.
  23. You'll have a pending code which you can't read because you're not using VCDS!
  24. Ignore it, if it ain't broke yet...
