  1. Go with Iron-X first. Scrubbing it isn’t a good idea if you have much interest in preserving your paintwork.
  2. Sounds like a load of fallout. Something like Iron-X would be a good start to see how much it shift. Probably need multiple treatments. https://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=360396
  3. Petrol manual is now up in the UK. £29,815.
  4. Yes. I think there is a set of instructions in the VCDS section.
  5. Cool. Was mainly just highlighting there was two options available. I went with just the rear lights on their own.
  6. Is that what we’re wanting here though? I’ll preface by saying I last did this 4 years ago. But that adaptation above turns on the rear lights, numberplate lights and dash lights, no? What we’re actually wanting to do here is add a function to each rear cluster and make them daytime running lights?
  7. Don’t believe so. It’s been discussed since way back in late 2013 I think about how much it doesn’t make sense.
  8. It’s a small cardboard presentation box containing a travel mug, key rings and a pen. Or it was back in 2017 when I got mine.
  9. Don’t forget to smash that like button. Re ChipEx. Like a lot of things in life, how satisfied you are with the result will entirely depend on your personal standards. I know people who believe their car looks as good as mine does after a £5 hand wash compared to my decontamination, wash, wax and seal effort. I don’t believe it does. Horses for courses.
  10. Jesus. That noise generator. Put it in the bin.
  11. You’d be better starting off doing something like enabling rear DRL and changing the comfort indicator flash from 3 to 4. They’re easier to do and will give you a feel of what’s what, albeit they’re not done using long coding. HBA and TSR are two of the more difficult changes to make (IMO).
  12. That last part is debatable.
  13. Saved them making two different bumpers. They’re not the worst trim pieces out there. At least there is actually an exhaust outlet within and it’s not just blanked off like others out there.
  14. Have you used any of the ‘apps’ to change anything in the past?
  15. I’ve got them in my Octavia and they work fine. No errors thrown up but I coded them in as LED anyway, belt and braces etc.
  16. I popped into a dealer on Sunday. They had a black hatch. Looked great. I now want one. Urgh.
  17. Ah ha. I knew I’d done this before. Edit: Oh, I see you’ve tried this already. Hmm...
  18. If my memory serves me correctly, the option isn’t actually where the guide says it is. I’ll nip out and try to grab some screenshots (although I seem to recall I’ve done this before and posted up here). Anyway.
  19. No issues here. Passed my MOT with this mod still active on the car back in June. Wasn’t mentioned at all.
  20. Think that’s a more difficult question for us mortals to answer. I’m not up on Skoda UKs logic for which options to offer.
  21. The Mk4 vRS has just been made available to order in the UK so yeah, your choices are limited. Give it a few months for all versions and options to filter through.
  22. No. They won’t be popping filament replacement LED bulbs at the factory. The new lights will come as a whole LED cluster.
  23. I’ll cut to the chase. My usage and mileage sound the same as the OP. Average 37ish.
  24. There is a difference, yes. You can interchange but it’s not plug and play.
