Strange pattern on inside of headlight lens MK1 vrs
Pretty sure I had Philips Ultinon led sidelight bulbs in my MkI Fabia and had no issues with them. Got them in my Rapid as well and they've never caused me any problems. I'd follow @J.R.'s advice and get them polished.

So I went and bought a Jaaaag
That reminded me of when MIL picked up her new MkII Fabia Scout. She remarked that the indicators gave a nice clicking sound so you knew they were working. Just as well as she was blind as a bat and relied on her other senses to navigate. Only had one run in with a bus in over fifty-five years of driving I'm joking, of course. It was more like fifty-six years. I took that car out for a good old run today as well. Over 100 miles through some twist north German A roads.

Two things. People appreciate others indicating their intentions. The peasants know their place so give way to Lady Eleanor of Boro in her superior V8 Jaaaaaaag.

Porsche V engine porn
I was today years old when I discovered you can buy a brand new MkI or MkII Escort. 'Mexico or RS2000, sir?' 'Shut up and take my money' https://www.facebook.com/reel/813494243790192

ULEZ and other similar schemes we are being told are all about clean air for everybody but are they really just a means of making money from motorists?
ULEZ seems to be working. I wondered why some had gone a bit quiet. 95% of vehicles seen in the ULEZ areas are ULEZ compliant. Some 80,000 fewer more polluting vehicles either off the road or punted elsewhere. https://www.ilfordrecorder.co.uk/news/23894862.sadiq-khan-ulez-ahead-schedule-removing-vehicles/?ref=rss&utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-london-67288327

Brake replacement, how hard can it be?
How many people, as a percentage, do you think would be able to spot if a disk is warped or how much meat is left on a pad in terms of mileage from looking through a wheel? Even I'd have to take the wheel off to be sure and I've changed a few in my time.

Brake replacement, how hard can it be?
Yep. Me as well. Brakes are a favourite to con people into parting with their hard earned. 'It's a safety issue innit sir/ madam'. Customer can't actually see the disk or pad for themselves and take the testers word for it and stump up because they don't want to be without their car and are led to believe things could be worse.

I don't think there's a way back to the Beeb for Clarkson after his Meghan Markle comment tbh.

So I went and bought a Jaaaag
The Chris Evans and Matt LeBlanc era needs to have all the tapes destroyed IMO It started getting better with Paddy McGuiness/ Harris and Flintoff but yeah, Clarkson, Hammond and May were the best years.

So I went and bought a Jaaaag
Yeah that's the one, George. I just couldn't get into it.

I saw TG is getting canned. No idea if there's a last series to be screened or if that's it. I don't know if there's any decent car shows left any more. I was underwhelmed with Fifth Gear Recharged and that new Channel 4 one with old bangers is just pants.

Wow, this forum is ultra quiet!
Facebook has killed a lot of forums IMO. A shame really as Facebook can't organise discussions in the way a forum can and you'll get dozens of posts asking the same thing whereas on a forum all one has to do is find the relevant section. I saw this posted the other day but it's not new.

So I went and bought a Jaaaag
I can understand your thoughts re scum bags etc but I'm not sure I would have chopped the M for the F tbh despite the desire to own a V8. That said, I don't live where you do and car crime here, at least where I am in the here I am is almost unheard of. I don't even worry about locking my car once it's under the car port and I don't worry about going to bed leaving the front door unlocked either. I doubt there's a better looking V8 Jag around though so I hope you're very happy with it. Maybe some seat covers are in order as I doubt I could stop wearing black jeans ever.

the truth about electric cars
You clearly have the bandwidth to watch multiple videos on YouTube or wherever you watch them whilst your missus is watching soaps so why not use that bandwidth to watch what you want to using many of the free TV apps available? YouTube can be a right rabbit hole sometimes and IME shows you more of what you want to see/ it wants you to see only confirming your bias. Seriously, take a step back from it. That's not a dig btw.

the truth about electric cars
Step away from the internet Graham. There's plenty of reruns of Heartbeat on one of the ITV channels. That's not the same woman. I doubt even from the same country. That was clearly made as humour given the name of the account that shared it. No dialogue despite aircraft noise and a woman in an OH locker? Seriously 😳 The flight attendant wore a skirt far shorter than any I've seen on Flight Attendants lately. No aircraft movement at all. Get a grip.

the truth about electric cars
You've obviously never heard of portrait mode 🙄 One minute this took me. I've never seen a landscape view TicToc vid BTW.

the truth about electric cars
So you've got nothing despite your assertions. Great, thanks 🙄

the truth about electric cars
Graham, going by your fantastic forensic analysis of the Luton Airport Range Rover fire I think I'll ignore your forensic analysis of a doorbell 👍

the truth about electric cars
You obviously watch many more videos on the internet than I do (and some rather odd ones I might add) but seeing as you say 'there is a whole series of these videos on the internet and she seems to be in them all' do you have some more examples of this series and specifically her in them all?

the truth about electric cars
No idea if this is staged or not - those things do happen but if it isn't, what an entitled arrogant horror of a person to think she can just steal someone else's electricity and have the audacity to park on some else's property in order to do so. 391716400_998609954565305_7301188350753662680_n.mp4

Clarkson's Favourite - Tales of Vectra Ownership
I've probably got some of Clarkson's other musings on the Vauxhall Vectra in one of his many books I have on the shelf. I might have a look tomorrow. In the meantime @AnnoyingPentium here's one from the Sunday Times in 2002. https://www.driving.co.uk/30-years-clarkson/clarkson-reed-warbler-vauxhall-vectra-review-2002/

Some astrophotography shots
Jupiter and a couple of her moons. Io and Europa I think. Single thirty second shot with the same lens etc as above. Zoom in for a bit more detail - better on a PC than a phone.
