  1. Bloody hell those things have a fully rear end. I saw a Lynk & Co 01 the other day. Not too bad looks wise but Chinese I believe.
  2. Same. And Frosties, Coco Pops or whatever was sweet
  3. I was watching The 1970s Supermarket on Channel 5 last week. They showed how much (little) wheat went into a pack of Sugar Puffs if you want to get an idea of how much it expands. https://www.channel5.com/show/the-1970s-supermarket/season-1/episode-3
  4. I was almost with him on everything until he said he wouldn't take it on a track. Well WHY would you? It's not a track day car. It's a GT for long journeys in relative comfort.
  5. It was a solid car.No rust in sight. It was a very dark purple with tiny metallic flakes. Personally I'm not a fan of the skirts etc. IMO it'd look better stock. No idea why the owner was using trade plates to visit a flea market 50kms away from where it's registered on a Sunday
  6. Lithium hates water. It gets angry and very hot and will boil the water.
  7. Spotted this today, Rob. Er, nice wheels
  8. Wait until the kids have buggered off and you have so much free time you can indulge in all those frivolous projects you had in mind
  9. I saw a now deleted post on Twitter this morning. A chap so annoyed that he was having to sell his classic Citröen DS because of ULEZ. He deleted it after being told by many people that as it's from the 1960s and therefore over forty years old and ULEZ exempt. How many more Muppets haven't bothered to check the facts before whinging online about it.
  10. Most Arsenal fans going to watch Spurs would use the tube or overground and vice versa.
  11. A small but related aside I was reading the other day. More than 150 models of new cars are too big for parking spaces. https://www.theguardian.com/business/2023/aug/26/more-than-150-car-models-too-big-for-regular-uk-parking-spaces
  12. You can't end things now. I've just ordered another half ton of popcorn.
  13. The tens of thousands he was referring to is for Paris. In the closing paragraph he said there's 2000 or so in London. Not easy to follow I agree but he's not incorrect 👍
  14. Yes I saw he'd replied. Thanks, Ryan.
  15. Not my car but I've found an absolute Unicorn. Hens teeth. Rocking horse kakka. A Fantasy Green MkI Fabia ESTATE!
  16. My first internet capable phone was a Nokia 5210 (the best Nokia) with WAPS. Such fun checking yahoo mail at a few kbps 🙄
  17. Correctamundo
  18. I'm afraid the missus would clout me I'll try and get Jupiter when it's a bit higher next time.
  19. Jupiter. Eos 250D 18mm f/4 30 seconds ISO 3200
  20. How about bays and a sunken charging pillar? There are ways and means it just requires a little thought and the investment and will to get it sorted.
  21. If only there was a solution where not everybody needed their own driveway 🙄
  22. A few from the back yard taken over the past couple of nights. All only using a Canon DSLR. Trying out different ISO and duration. All I've done is reduce chrominance and luminance noise plus sharpened a little in Canon Photo Professional 4 Looking south towards Hamburg Eastwards East again And south again
  23. I think it's important where you get your news from. So I took a look at three of the UK's most read online news sites. (The Mail, The Express and the Telegraph) It's interesting how many of the articles have a negative spin on EV's/ Hybrids. Interesting that they all seem full of the same sort of people/ writers. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/search.html?sel=site&searchPhrase=EV+electric+vehicles https://www.express.co.uk/latest/electric-cars https://www.telegraph.co.uk/cars/hybrid-electric-cars/
