  1. the enyaq is very much on the same page, though on a trip I nearly always use ABRP on screen and it is bang on
  2. the update is due in the "second half of the year" rumours abound that it will be announced this week
  3. it shouldn't need set up, you just need tosay "ok laura" but google is so much better I wouldn't bother
  4. he drives a Tesla. I've no issue with 45 minutes as that's roughly all I ever spend charging, Never go beyond 80% as it slows down too much after that, it's always faster to move on and charge again
  5. wallyford is East Lothian, they have a 45 minute limit with £1 per minute thereafter. I know the guy who runs their chargers, an EV driver himself he's adamant 45 minutes is the right amount for a "journey charger" as he calls them
  6. good luck, after owning a Tesla model 3 for14 months andnow an Enyaq for 13 months I can tell you the enyaq is a much better car than my Tesla. Pre conditioning is the one thing I wish the enyaq did but it's rarely an issue. In fact on 50 kW chargers the enyaq charges much faster (the tesla used to max out at 34 kW because it used the rest to warm the battery up. On the enyaq I typically get 48 kW. ANd the deal breaker was having to take the Tesla back for repairs every sinlge month, sometimes twice a month 😞
  7. if it does only have 50 kW charging, Skoda can and do provide an upgrade for roughly £400, there's a part number and everythign for it. I'veowned a Zoe, a Leaf a Tesla Model 3 and the Enyaq is far and away the best of all of them. End of story
  8. the cosra sounds poor, I have been getting 4.2 m/kWh recently
  9. @roottoot same old Arnold Shark eh?
  10. I had a zoe as a stop gap while I waited for the Tesla. It was an amazing wee car. Loved the fact it could charge at 22 kW just about anywhere. But te Enyaq is the best car I have ever owned by a long stretch. Far superior to the tesla model 3
  11. shiny!
  12. domhnall replied to Waxy's topic in Skoda Enyaq
iot was promised for the second half of the year so coul dbe from now til Christmas
  13. that's rubbish, the Stellantis products seem a bit cr*p
  14. sorry George, not been on for a while. just over 12500 miles so far in 11 months. The car counts down the days to service. The system is very much the same as Tesla do - thought they call it maintenance so they can boast their cars "never need to be serviced". Unfortunately many tesla owners take that at face value and think their cars simply never need to be checked over. 😉
  15. I made a video to answer this question https://youtu.be/5Qfw4og9mIM
  16. I'll see if I can find it, Skoda Global posted it on facebook I am sure
  17. thanks for the plug George 😉 60 is perfectly fine for the UK. I regularly drive from Livingston to Milton Keynes with zero issues. Was in Manchester again last week and at this time of year the car can do that without stopping. I on the other hand can't so I had to stop at Carnforth for aome food and a toilet stop after 3 hours. The 80 has a bigger battery but the extra weight menas it is less efficient, so it's not a linear increase in range with increased battery capacity.
  18. Enyaq is just a much nice car to drive. But the delays are hitting all models. Having said that Enyaq deliveries now seem t be comign through again.
  19. Skoda have been pretty clear on this, every 2 years regardless of mileage.
  20. not as much as a Russian shell into your apartment block though 😞
  21. on the new rapid chargers at Ingliston park and ride in Edinburgh (BP units) if you use the AC charge it prevents anyone using the DC charge. So there are 6 x rapid chargers and 20 x 22kW chargers. Usually there are 6 cars plugged in on the rapids for hours on end while the owners have gone into town on the tram. So there are 20 fast chargers available but rather than using those these selfsh sods block the 6 rapid chargers. Personally I'd have them clamped or towed.
  22. no. People can be driving quite happily in manual driving just as you describe, and the warnings all kick off so people are rightly woindering is there a fault or is it just because of the conditions.
  23. yup, ID3, ID4, ID5, ENyaq, Q4 etron, Cupra Born are fundamentally all the same car underneath
