  2. aaahhhh...... so thats what they pulled the new m3 grill from, and just didnt resize it...
  3. theres something asian about that volume knob. ..
  4. Wilberpog is gone, but..... when does Wilberpog come back? and what type of clotging will he/she be wearing?
  5. we had a couple of those era fiestas in work as pool vans. 1.4s too. strangley torquey if ultimately low on actual power. then we got ONE 1.9 gen 2 focus van to share as well. that did make the firstas feel crap. and then they all got replaced by connects, and have stayed as connects at every fleet update since. 🙄 mixed bag of mostly horrible under powered noisy dirt. i believe the 2020 fleet are alright though, finally getting cruise control and Aircon...but they are also gps'd and limited... thus i claim my milage on the octy instead
  6. sounds like a blocked eustachian tube. its a little pipe thst connects the ear canal to the throat to let pressure through. theres a jaw exercise you you do that will help it release
  7. beat me to it... its a much better looking front end the m3
  8. oooo catchup... nov 8th a reasonable run 6k by the river. bloody windy morning though. nov 10th a middlin slower 6k, after a sgite night sleep i just needed to get out. pace was all over the shop. that was last week. got out yesterday morning on the bike. couldnt face going up the hills given how crap the weather has been, so heaed ong the river. no floods etc so kept up an alright pace. happy with it so i was, fairly chaffy ass though courtesy of me jocks having rolled up me crack. longest cycle on strava (by about 10yds...) and the longest constant pedal( no downhills) on the Sentier. and today... got a nearly decent bit of sleep last night. so trekked out and made myself keep a pace up as best i could. 30mins 54sec for 6k. really happy with that pace, all things considered.
  9. the big tesco scissors is obscuring which clubland album thats is...
  10. wonder is it just because of the car park availability indicators? seems a bit wasteful tbh, they could just put 3 small led counter on an aluminium signpost. its not like the roads can be varied ..
  11. were you venturibg up or down the trailat the time? looks like deceptive little hole tbf
  12. as above with Kens comment. the bosch curved blade is pretty okay, but... oem ex main dealer is the o lt definite fit. i bought 2 when i needed one for my mk1 - they had to order them, in so said get me 2 to have a spare...
  13. jaysus i thought the rear one i got was big!!
  14. 34k on it? mileage wise its not even broken in yet keep it serviced and it will do another 166000 easily and then probably another 200000 after that as for the rattles, its probably just age related trim rattles. its 12 yrs old after all, so theres 12yrs of thermal flex and stretch and usage going on. its not gonna be as tight as it was new.
  15. ok my god, blocks are a pain in the arse.. 1mm off on any axis and theyll either kill you by not working at all or working so well they throw you off into the ditch.
  16. and... today, after another 1/2 night on the pretend mattress i woke up about 615. alarm was set for 630 (a lie in lol) and so went ninja again and escaped. geared up and went for a run. and..... was it a blistring pace? god no. but at my 6k route turning point everything just felt good so i kept going, knowing i had the time on a saturday morning if it all went wrong and i had to crawl home. 8k is longest ive run since the january knee pain issues started. nothing today except sweat and being extra knackered when i got home delighted is an understatement....
  17. on Thursday i managed to sneak out and get a 6k run in, after spending 15mins at Jr's door after i escaped, because i only made it over his bedroom door gate and he started making wakey up noises behind me 🤦‍♂️ i wont lie, i may have nearly cried a little, but he re-settled enough for me to run away (literally). it was an alright run all things considered and was badly needed.
  18. So, given the above..... I got out on Monday morning, after being awake from 525am, and went full ninja stealth to escape at 630am. didnt really have time for a decent cycle so it was a heavy tough bash up to the top of the cross hill - the off road trails were in ****e after the rain. had to get off and push it up the steep bit, less than zero traction on the grass, even pushing was hard. but i got there. took a lovely photo of the early dawn light, the bike sitting under a sliver of a moon... corrupted sd card its gone. took 32min to pedal up there, slowest in months on that route....
  19. well, the last couple of weeks gave been pretty messy. this whole moving Spud jr to a bed from the cot is breaking my will. i havnt had a decent nights sleep in a month now - the 1st week was leading up to a massive project in work thay i was 98% unconfident about delivering my bit of properly, week 2 was that project. then we moved him to the new bed. and since then i have been woken up at least twice each night and then spent the rest of the night half asleep on his 4ft long 2ft wide 3inch thick cot matress beside his bed afraid to leave in case a creaking floor board wakes him up again.. its torture.

👋 where in the country are you?
  22. tore it down just now... no obvious damage to any of the (surprisingly numerous) components. this is the bit i figured was damaged, ut theres nothing obvious wrong with it. everything laid out, and nothimg looks *******sed 🤷‍♂️ but, seeing how many bits there are inside and knowing its a €29.99 retail part... i get why sram dont do spares...
  23. just back in the house after swapping over to the new shifter. (yes, its late enough but such is life) grip off, brake lever off, then snip the crimp and unlace the cable, then take off the shifter. new shifter on and roughly tighten it up, thread the new cable through the sheaths to the end and get tension about right. brake lever back on and the grip back on the bar and no weird clicky shifts anymore but i need to twiddle the tension and index screw etc to get it settled in right. and adjust the angle of the shifter and brake lever again on a test ride. ill update hopefully in the next few days with the tear down of the old one, see whats what inside it.
  24. mmmm..... yup. thats a good lookin merc. possibly the best looking "everyday" merc in a while...
  25. yup! but the weird thing was it didnt bothered me. none of it did. i just went along with all the ****e and was laughing through the spray coming up off the front wheel into my face. id say the people in traffic going the other way mustve thought i was an utter nutter laughing away cycling up the bypass in a status yellow rainfall warning
