Mac's Running Diary - edit jan '21 cycling too - edit jan 23 back @ circuit training,
trying to snow, i reversed yesterdays route, but cut it about 2.5k shorter due to time constraints. eastern head wind blowing a light snow into my face for half the trip wasnt fun.

that is very good. think i paid 25e for a "skoda touch up kit" from a german supplier. proper colour code matched and also came with the clear coat.

given you like the off roading, theres a couple of climbing challenges may suit you. the lecol one was to log 5hrs in 2weeks iirc. got my voucher code and entered into a draw for 2900quids worth of their gear. the jacket i order was €165 and i got it or 106 and free delivery this weekend. well chuffed, as i needed a new decent waterproof jacket that isnt company issue fluorescent orange

Help, water ingress, is it time to say goodbye :-(
@Funkoid id start trying to get the water out now before the cold weather tbh. i just used a piece of 1500gauge clear plastic sheet - the type a builder puts under the subfloors of a house. cut it big enough to go over the whole door panel, cut the holes for cables to go through then stick it on. i used pvc pipe jointing compound- lay a bead of it all around the frame, make sure theres no gaps then offer up the plastic. trim the excess plastic back a bit and let cure. i then put a layer of duct tape over the edge for peace of mind, and around the holes you had to make to strengthen them up and stop it tearing.

1) take the door card off the driver door, id lay a wager that the membrane seal wasnt properly done and the water is getting from there - down the glass, into the door (normal) and getting out under the door card into the car. 2) do you have a sunroof? if so the rear drainage channels may be blocked which iirc lets water into the boot. does you rear washer spray water? if not check the joint under boot carpet on the left hand side boot cubby. this would also have water firing into the boot. i dont remember there being any foam in the doors tbh, just the plastic sheet membranes that were probably not fixed up properly when the work was done. if you can, take out the seats and the centre console, and get the carpet out to dry it and the underlay out, with the dehumidifier too.

Mac's Running Diary - edit jan '21 cycling too - edit jan 23 back @ circuit training,
so yesterday i upped my game a bit due to the main route still being a bit flooded, i had to stay within the main roads. then this morning the flood gate was closed, so i really had to alter my route, but tacked on some extra distance you may also notice i set a new PR for 2 segments yeaterday, and then set new PR's on them again today

Skoda Kushaq
yup and my wife now has one parked outside our house... where i swore would never be (Seat Arona so very similar to this Kushaq but a bit shorter) in your opinion srane, will it be popular among those who can afford it in its target bracket?

11km today, even more flooding on the river side route, so ended up having to go out main road. head torch and hivis but still... lorries make the pedalling less fun. also finished the Le Col challenge so i got a voucher code for 58quid off some gear and a draw entry for 2900 quid worth must have a look at the fancy cycling gear.

is it not just a kamiq with some different lights? like how the mk2 octavia became a "Laura" in the indian market. ive not watched the videos. @srane4213 or @Burhan may be able to point us in the right direction for the indian market?

Advice - SAI & breather system cleanup
wonder could you get a plastic or rubber cover that would fit over it to make it look extra neat and possibly let mount it against something?

Reusing a router on another account
even if its a copper job standard routers from same isp will have same access config. i accumulated 5 of them at one stage and swapped out ones in my MiL's to test for faults when she had problems with 0 issues.

VIN checker
not free, as vag has all the full build data behind a paywall - erwin and pay for access.

Speed ,i items to be fitted to all new cars by 2022
its not sovmuch the power as it is the torque to get out of trouble if thats the safest escape route. staged licensing makes sense. cutting peoples power when it may be needed is dangerous, so if thats the route being chosen there needs to be an option for a temporary manual override for emergency use - have it set you only get a max 5 overrides per 2000km driven
