so swmbo went back to classroom yesterday, and i took the day off as a "transition day" to the new routine. so i went a short loop - 16k - to be back for prepping spud sr for school too. same today, though i slept a bit ****e last night, woke up for no reason around 4, for a good half hr. definitely felt the reduced sleep in my legs. yesterday today, i also got stuck behind a bin lorry that couldnt overtake a street sweeper coming through town, which then cost me a clean slot tgrough a roundabout and then stuck at traffic lights. i think its just bèing one of those annoying days!!

main issue with it... most people in the "target Customer group" cant connect their smartphones to the straight forward, as standard, bluetooth in oh so many soft roaders and mpvs as it is*. so the odds of them managing to do it in complicated infotainment systems and actually use the wonderful features is... well, not great. *purely anecdotal, based on my many yrs experience of watching the target customers on the school runs with phones in hand.... who tf are all talking to all the time anyway???

sounds weird but the number plate across the grill breaks it up enough that it doesnt look as offensively massive. and if you cover the section below the plate with a finger, the lines on the top half are quite nice. first time a number plate has improved the look of a car!

got up and out yesterday morning, and this morning. same riverside route as the last few days, with a spin through town centre to bump up to the full 20km. nice enjoyable trips yesterday today turning point Bridge yesterday morning

thread hijack.... ive had a broken rear spring for a while (only the pigtail at the top so just a bit off...) looking at new ones based on the colour coding of 1 white 1 yellow, for a 1.6diesel hatchback, 7zap says they are 1k0511115 BD springs, but parts websites with my reg i say "not compatible should be BE variant springs. i doubt they been changed from factory already so.... BD and feck the websites or BE. i out my vin into 7zap and it says it doesnt exist...

yeah, but on the wiper / indicator stalks there should be a button for changing what the display is showing. your is on temp in the photo, it displays other stuff too. or do you buttons on the steering wheel?

i had the same issue with my insignia. i always just leaned in from the passenger door side and pressed the internal lock button. then close the passemger door. it doesnt bounce the doors back ulocked as the driver door does, and less risk catching your hand in the window or dropping your key mid extraçtion...

are there any buttons on the wiper stalk? for cycling through the trip display info on the dash display?
