  1. The President of the USA and his Bestie could just ban all Giga Factories and Battery Manufacturing & Storage and transportation of batteries. Get back to horses and Iron Horses and 'How the West was won'. & Stop the extraction of Oil from the Oil Sands using solvents.
  2. @Paws4Thot None of the videos posted Autostart, no need for you to watch them? Have you ever taken part in the discussions on EV,s without posting about Scalextric?
  3. Seems to me he likes earning from Youtube and has to turn out some videos on a regular basis. Much Cheapness new and Used Cars for those that wants them and he is out of that game, he has become part of The Media;.
  4. He should get to Gazza and see what deaths and damage has been done by weapons supplied by the USA and UK.
  5. £6.99 in Aldi.
  6. PlugShare is good for showing New Chargers coming. Sadly some i have been watching have been showing for several years and still not where they show as going to be.
  7. 7 pence a kWh on home charging is the wonderful thing. BIK and Salary Sacrifice is fantastic. Over 70 pence being common now for public charging and those who pay for running their vehicles from their income after tax seems to not register with those with cars for business / commercial use. The Chancellor and the Prime Minister and other Politicians that can travel and travel in the UK with their families using expenses need to get with 'The real world'. I would just allow then 2 pence a Mile travel expenses, and £25,000 to purchase an EV for their term as an elected member. It has to be sold after 5 years and anything it loses over 1/3rd when sold comes out of their leaving payments from parliament. I would allow them to claim for Ferries and taking the car.
  8. @lol-lol I just asked if you bothered trying to help others in the EV community by posting on ZapMap or Plugshare if checking in, or any issues. I know the sh!te charger providers and call centres, and i post on ZapMap & Plugshare to share with others. I also when i can then report the issue to the company. ZAPMAP is it's self pretty hopeless, but they seem to think they are great. Nice little earner for someone,
  9. What is the asking price on Autotrader or anyplace else for the same or similar. WBAC are buying it to sell, at a price more than they buy it for. Obviously that need not be your ASKING PRICE. They have places to sell cars though, lots of places, where there are lots of buyers. You have BRISKODA Cars for sale.
  10. Doris Stokes is dead sadly. She never saw that coming. You have to just gamble on what you get & if it leaves you stranded. Depends on the condition, depends on maintenance, depends on many many things. Is there good parts fitted now to brakes, suspension, good tyres, windscreen etc. Just do not buy a shed, or something someone bought to move on quick for a quick profit, or because faulty.
  11. There is under reporting about charging by lazy arsed EV drivers using public charging. On Zapmap and PlugShare. If people bothered to take 4 minutes when they get a successful charge or unsuccessful, chargers damaged etc put up. But then lazy arsed EV users can not be bothered reporting faulty chargers in Scotland to Charge Place Scotland and get a ticket raised. There can be weeks or months between posts on Zap Map or PlugShare since i posted and nobody else posting updates, working or not. There can be days or weeks of damaged and faulty chargers and no report made so that repairs might get done. @lol-lol Do you check in at chargers & do you post on Zapmap or Plugshare about any chargers you have used? I feel sorry for this dude. Surely he should just enjoy his retirement, get out on his motorcycle and blow away the cobwebs.
  12. @lol-lol I have fixed yet again for another year. I little higher tariff than i fixed in January but i figured worth it just now. Maybe another renewal later in the year if down any, and if not this time next year. (I am well in credit now and gas heating getting turned down soon and maybe just up for a few weeks if there is cold weather after the 'Scorchio' later this week.)

The WBAC price is more than £1,500 less than the car can maybe sell to someone private or in the trade for actual cash money.
  14. @lol-lol You really need to understand that everyone can not Charge a car before driving. For whatever reason. Even if they can they might have to go collect someone a mile from charging and wait 15 minutes. Rushing that person to get a move on. 'My battery has cooled'. Heat your battery, go someplace, go to the hills, go to a hotel, go anyplace. Start back with a cold non charged battery. I know these were posted before, but then the one 3 posts up was posted in this thread on Friday.http://
  15. It is called 'Emotion start'.
  16. @blackh0le Is that Continental European but not a UK European model?
  17. OK. The DQ381 needs the filter changed. The DQ380,s were in Chinese built cars and not in Europe. For many 20,000 miles / 2 years is enough for the Haldex. I would take anything they or say with a pinch of salt considering the rubbish about 95 octane petrol & using Super Unleaded.
  18. @DasSkoda Where are you getting all this duff information? Anything in writing? Bulgaria counts as a Dust Free Country does not? Or not 'Dust Rich.' Haldex is every 30,000 miles / 3 years. Engine oil every 9,400 miles / 372 days is pretty much FIXED Servicing according to VW Group, Flexible / variable is 24 months, 18,000-20,000 miles. Spark Plugs at 40,000 miles & Super Unleaded Petrol used is not going to reduce the recommended service schedule on them. This Air Filter change is ridiculous, check at every service. The Cam Belt and DSG interval is wrong for many DSG,s.

It was very likely the best price from WBAC. just not the best The Dealership could do, or MOTORWAY or even going direct to a Trader / Dealer that needs to buy at Auction anyway or take trade ins. Some would rather cut out the middle man / BCA or WBAC.
  20. Guest_ replied to paco's topic in Skoda Karoq
PX matched WBAC price because that was dead easy for the sales person, they know that can just punt it that way. That was not the best price that could have been achieved though.
  21. Guest_ replied to paco's topic in Skoda Karoq
Just sales patter. Do you own the car outright? They want your car to resell and as cheap as you will sell for and they want you to buy a car. They are in a the motor trade, that is what they do. Simply just ask them to give a price for your car. They will talk about cost to change.
  22. Michelin own the company that makes Kormoran, like they own the ones that make BF Goodrich / Uniroyal Goodrich, TIGAR, Riken, Kleber and maybe more. Various Countries and Companies. (used all of these at one time or another, fitted at ATS Euromaster.) & the own ATS Euromaster & BlackCircle.
