service advice?
VW 502 00 is likely to be 5w 40 FS. (Not long life oil.) Finding VW504 00 / 507 00 so 5w 30 FS III (Long Life) is really rather easy, you might even find 0w 30 FS III. Asda, Tesco, any Motor Factor, or Filling Station.

Amazon delivered new pants already in less than 24 hours. That is pretty hot, just like my pants this morning. I set out in the mist and now it is over 20 degrees and time to watch the Giro d,Italia with a beer on the comfort of my sofa. My favourite day of that or any race with a mountain top finish.

KPH/MPH
People will make up their own mind on just how much the Skoda UK / VW group Resolution Managers are interested in resolving the issues of paying customers that were sold products not fit for purpose in a timely manner. At no cost to the customer putting trust in n the manufacturer and the importer. Those interested might read the 'rejection thread'. There is mission with the VW group but honesty is not really part of that mission.

15 or 16 inch wheels for ride comfort?
PS, I think you meant 'decreaded MPG.'. Doh my bad. Yes you got more miles per litre. So increased the mpg. If the tyre circumference was the same and you were accurately getting the distance covered.

15 or 16 inch wheels for ride comfort?
We all know about unsprung weight but 'the wheels on the bus go round and round.'#. so light wheels on the flat and going up hills. Heavier wheels might help you down hill or coasting on the flat. Put passengers in the car and there is more sprung weight. EV,s now have Aero wheels and it is dead easy to check the difference in range so the same as Economy if it was an ICE when you change tyre types and widths.

DRL's on a trailer
All a bit silly really as Day Time / daylight running lights are so that people including those not driving cars but walking / cycling can see a vehicle coming even when Sunny. Oddly even when stopped / parked they are on if the engine is. So if you want to light the rear of a vehicle then maybe the visibility is bad. So maybe get on the sidelights and dipped beam and rear reg plate lights, and trailer marker lights to the front so you can be seen from the front and rear. When you are reversing the reverse light should be on regardless of f the lights the driver chooses. It is not that difficult really, just all rather odd with DRL,s then Auto lights and those that have no idea what others can see.

More likely how narrow the tyres are.

Oil for 1.5 TSI
Active Cylinder Technology. (COD with Audi, Cylinders on demand.) That is where the 2 cylinders shut down when the load / power is not required. Some complain about how that feels. and many never even notice it occurring. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/464630-15-tsi-act-vibration-and-noise http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/472276-the-kangaroo-is-dead

Enyaq Heat Pump Option
The UK might be a cheaper place to build using skilled workers who will accept jobs paying less than they used to get working for manufacturers leaving the UK. Time will tell what a brave new British Isles are like & just how the EU gets on. Maybe it is just the place to be manufacturing the batteries. There are markets other than the EU or Asia / Far East. http://bbc.co.uk/news/technology-57185806 Boris had Victor Orban visiting him today. Hungary is another country with skilled workers where EU & other Global Manufacturers like to build cars. If the UK & Hungary want to do trade deals that pith off the EU then Hungary can do that.

190 TSI, anyone?
- Electric car grant reduced, cap now £35,000
Skoda lost the plot when they started calling the most basic cars 'S', then ones Monte Carlo when they were show without go, they called the Suspension 'Sports', & then had a model called a Rapid 'Sport' 1.2TSI 105ps. Then had a Rapid Spaceback.- Electric car grant reduced, cap now £35,000

I always wear a BMX Shin Guard on my own leg but forgot the first day out this week and was very conscious after i noticed. I can not find ones big enough anymore that are velcro fastening, so it was a pair i bought and made one guard out of them. (I now have a spare after buying another pair.) (I always buy lots of things once i find what i like incase there is a 3rd WW or a Pandemic or the likes.) My 5 pairs of long shorts from George @ Asda that i have had for years have finally fallen apart after lots of patching and strengthening so now i have a few pairs of 'Dickies' Industrial work shorts. Below the knee and nice secure pockets and key loop etc. Sorted for years to come hopefully.- E-bike
@NJRJWhen i was younger i wore cycling shorts with chamois leather inserts and that was horrible as were people using banana skins or the banana to soften the 'leather' or to make their bum more comfortable. I also remember the days of caffeine suppositories.- E-bike
@Gaz for about 5 years now i have been wearing my Padded Cycle Pants over my pants even when not cycling as they make my artificial leg much more comfortable and help the suction. I have 3 pairs of a more brief size & tight and 3 pairs that are a bit baggy. All are getting a bit thread bare and ready for replacement. Like these, but they were £8 a pair when i bought them, and they have been worth every penny. (The padding is on the inside as i wear them, not on the outside.) EDIT, Found the same as i have @ £7.99 and ordered more.- Launch Control vRS
@jamercuesWelcome to the forum. Maybe best if you say what flavour of Mk4 Octavia you have, as in what engine and gearbox. ? Are you saying you could not get Stop / Start off / disabled so that the car will not automatically Stop / Stop Start? Do you want the Electric Stability Programme off totally, as in no longer functioning ever, or do you want the TC - Traction Control / ASR- Anti Slip Regulation off?- E-bike
It is all around this area. The issue i find is once they spray it and are holding it waiting to be harvested.- Just taken delivery...and then found this forum
I think @Gax does not mean a Drug Dealer but a Skoda or other main Dealership to have a Trained & Qualified Tech to do work. Many do the 2nd one but find out they are better going to someone that does know what they are doing.- Kodiaq buying advice please...
As Tom Jones sang, it is not unusual, as seen with Fairs, Carnivals & Circus's moving from place to place.- E-bike
My bum needed no 'breaking in', so back to 20-30 miles twice a day using full assist and that allows 10 miles or more still on full assist. I will leave it a while to back at full fitness and then get longer rides in using less assistance.- Just taken delivery...and then found this forum
Disconnect the positive terminal first, not the negative. KIA say the opposite way.- Are all Karoq 2.0tdi 4x4?
Towing can be so easy or just enjoyable with an Auto or in this case a DSG. Getting back onto roads while towing can be a bit easier with a vehicle with Haldex as long as the tyres are suitable if getting off wet pitches / grass / mud. Not just about location location location it can be more about use and needs. There were 1.5TSI's with Haldex (AWD) but these are not plentiful. - Electric car grant reduced, cap now £35,000
