  1. @ords Have you had it since before 2016 so know it has not been done?
  2. It is absolutely crazy IMO if an EV is in ECO mode and can not give full power and acceleration if demanded by the driver when the accelerator is floored. If this is what VW thinks is 'Simply Clever' then they are heid a ba's. I sincerely hope Skoda have had more sense with the Enyaq. EDIT. This is in the comments.
  3. Common advice is that Cruise Control should not be used in adverse weather, flooding roads, ice, snow etc. Then as for ACC or CC being disabled / inhibited when a spare tyre is on, or a different circumference tyre, that is a design feature not a car throwing a flaky. As it is using CC when a emergency spare is fitted is hardly Simply Clever.
  4. @ords. Had the Emissions fix no affect on your car if you had it carries out?
  5. Give it a quick google. briskoda 1.6 tdi emissions fix
  6. Probably fine. BUT, the DQ200 DSG is not what would bother me since that is just a simple gamble. The Emissions fix is what would put me off. That is the new Engine Management they put on and the flow device that they put in the Air Intake. I would far rather go with a 1.4 TSI than a 2014 1.6TDI CR. With the VIN you could check if it has been done, or at least if it is outstanding. http://skoda-auto.com/services/recall-actions It can be rolled back and a remap done.

    Top speed is 90 mph.
  8. That is just the weird app though. A Service Booklet was 'Simply Clever' so Skoda stopped doing them. You can make up your own one, or buy one. There is maintenance throughout ownership. Like checking oil, tyres / pressures/ washer fluid, wiper blades etc. Prepping for winter and maintaining after winter. There is Oil & Filter change at 372 days / 9,400 miles if on a Fixed Service Regime, and not until 24 months / 18,000-20,000 miles if on variable, or sooner if you want. So that is at 2 years or sooner.
  9. @janis Ahh sorry. I understand now. Yes i lost a year someplace. Still applies though, things are liable to change since there is a pandemic. People waiting on cars and Skoda upping production maybe. For once a positive with covid.
  10. @janis I posted a Skoda Official website. Did they post a later update? & did Skoda not close the plant after all?
  11. The Haldex Oil change done properly is important so that there is an idea that all is well there. So was the pump cleaned? The other thing important about it done correctly is that you know the correct oil was drained and then that oil replaced, and not an error that sometimes happens like the Rear Diff gets drained, when it is the Haldex oil that is supposed to be getting done. eg http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/428562-rear-diff-failure-following-haldex-oil-change
  12. @ecojunk Welcome to the forum. When was your car last checked on a ramp while getting a MOT?
  13. Hopefully the rear coupling is not like this. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/481392-4x4-rear-propshaft-coupling-damper
  14. It might well be the haldex system that is the issue. So when was that serviced or when did the rear diff get an oil change if ever? You need things checked out obviously.
  15. Things are bound to change when there is a Pandemic and especially in a country where the numbers with it are high. Things can change without much notice. http://skoda-auto.com/news/news-detail/close-coronavirus
  16. Just wunderbar! The nicest 911 i think i have ever coveted.
  17. As Senior 'Customer Resolution Manager' she should deal personally with delegating others to personally deal with things. If she could actually get a resolution to things that would greatly reduce the work load. Skoda UK love to have people believe that Skoda UK have anything to do with the fixing of issues that stem from the Czech Republic.
  18. The transfer box is a collection of components so no idea where they get to that from whatever the T&C,s / exclusions in their Warranty they sold you.
  19. @Ajdude ? Where do you find 'Claimed figures' on fuel consumption rather than WLTP figures? What speeds being driven with what weight in the car & at what ambient temp do the 'Claimed 56.4 mpg apply to?
  20. http://skoda-auto.com/services/recall-actions '34H5' might show here if outstanding. It did not until VW Group Australia started another 'recall' @ the end of 2019. Covering 2009-2015/16. This was a member local to me who had his DQ200 repair done by my friend. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/469385-7-speed-dsg-gearbox-repairfix (This is the DQ200 that were filled with Synthetic from the factory, but the information on the MCU and the selector from 'Mickmartin' still relevant to the DQ200 in this case.) http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/432730-oil-leak http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/425424-2017-another-dq200-7-speed-dsg-service-campaign
  21. In 2017 there was a Service Campaign called on some DQ200's from 2013-2015. This is a Software Update. The reason for this was leaking / failing DSG's. '34h5'. This is not the same as the 2014 service campaign on 2009-2012 DQ200 DSG for the Synthetic Oil to Mineral change and a software update.
