  3. The Bottom Lights are LED units. That can have bad connections. You buy them as a unit. They were bad for corrosion as much as a decade back so now that your car is 12 years old best look at the back of them. They are the DRL,s and become the Sidelights. Inless the car hasbeen modified like @UrbanPanzer did. No point posing loads of threads. Maybe @UrbanPanzerwill see this and can help you. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/475186-mk2-vrs-daylight-running-lights
  4. There are 2 blue DUMMY bulbs in the headlights where sidelights would be. DRLs, on when no lights turned on just ignition on. and when on as sidelights they go dimmer. The DRL,s are Sidelights and dim when you turn on Sidelights or Sidelight and head lights.
  5. Best you ask in the Mk2 Fabia Section. A mod can move your post. Do you mean the DRL / Sidelight units do not work? Do the DRL,s work? There are no Sidelights in the Head Lights. From your other thread on Brake Lights the car seems to have a few issues with wiring and fuses.
  6. Barnett VW in Dundee refused me the VW Group service offer on my Skoda Fabia vRS, Same as a Polo GTI Twincharger. It was a £299 service including Spark Plugs. Skoda Dundee wanted £249 & no spark plugs. Looked very much some agreement between them and Skoda Specialist Cars Dundee, John Clark Group & nothing to do with the Computer or Service Record. I asked if they were operating a cartel and would the Service Manager like to talk to Radio Tay who i was about to call or a Journalist from the Dundee Courier or Evening Telegraph. She went away through to an office and came back and said she could book it in, or if i wanted to leave it there was an available service bay and technician. She looked up the car and then asked if i wanted a courtesy car or a lift into town, i said i needed an Automatic and she said but your car is not an Automatic, and i said indeed it was exactly like the Polo GTI,s were, with a DSG. She said she never knew that. I got a Golf DSG for a couple of hours and when i came back the car was serviced, printed out record and £279.

a £20 valet will never do it. My dads car needed new underlay etc. Asda paid because tops were coming off, Asda charged Wisemans Dairy. Wisemans would have had a Mobile Valet person do it properly. As it turned out an Enzyme Cleaner was needed. Plenty advice on DIY etc. Be sure to really get rid of wetness, milk and cleaner. (Getting Soaps / Detergents out of anything is most important. They are Water Wetters and anything cleaned like Fabrics / Carpets then attract dirt, so beware in the home.) PS My Dad was a Laundry Manager and had a Dry Cleaning business as well and still never managed to do the job properly.
  8. 2018 when I was on a 12 months drugs trial for a diabetic drug I lost 3 stone. I was blood tested every 2 weeks, MRI done each month, and esg,s. I was definitely not getting the placebo. I was reducing the other medication as the trial doctor advised and my local surgery approved and eating well and exercising. Basically it was the Newcastle Diet that I was given. I never knew that at the time. What I know now was a it was a success for many. It required meal replacement drinks which were not cheap but Asda and Tesco weed 10 for £3 then. Now £5.50 for 10. I mix with chilled water and keep in a flask when going away. I use the milk for my cereals. After the 2018 trial and none of the medication it was a year before I was prescribed the medication because my doctor thought the drug was a nonsense. Which it was not because within weeks of taking again my diabetes was better controlled, my weight came down and I was just in better health. Until prolapsed discs. PS. There is a Scheme in Scotland for weight loss where the meal replacement drinks are supplied free.
  9. 21 minutes, Renault Kangoo. See @ 24 Minutes. Renault Zoe Van / Light Commercial. Car without rear seats. @28 mins, Electric van.
  10. It is interesting that the Media car for journalists to borrow in the UK has All Season tyres fitted. Those should be a Option with cars in the UK. Also it is strange how they size of screens and control position are mentioned but really nothing said about how good or not the position will be when the controls are to the left hand side of the driver and the central screen requires glances or looking to the left. The symbols on screens are plentiful and maybe not needing looked at often but they are pretty tine for those with older eyes. .............. OK. for All-Seasons in the size. and cost. Michelin Pilot Alpin 5.
  11. Maybe best in the Yeti section. I have flagged for a mod to move the post. You are going to have to have someone check the brakes.
  12. All-season Maxxis Premitra AP3,s. only 195 wide and doing just as well as Winter tyres, but then FWD & not a heavy car. Similar tread to CrossClimates. The Old car like mine has a setting over and above TC off, Dynamic stability control off. 3 Second hold of the toggle.
  13. 52% of Brewers Yeast is protein. I eat food for my protein tuna, mackerel, salmon, trout, herring, haddock, eggs, milk, nuts. I get the best of fish once or twice a week from the best of fish mongers. Right at the Smoke houses.
  14. Unreal. Just get a proper car and tyres.
  15. ^^^ They must be very different from Stallantis Hybrids from there other manufacturers. There must be hundreds of thousands of those around Europe and maybe globally.
  16. Only if the Q4 driver has it set that the charger is not locked in even after charging has finished if the car is locked. One regularly blocked the only working Rapid charger local to me and would leave the car a whole day or overnight and til late on in the day.
  17. It sounds terrible. How many miles has it done?
