  1. If I were to be picky, I wasn't sure about the headlight covers on the Zagato Fab to watch its progress though, and the skill of those involved. And of course the back story in relation to Harry 😎 Gaz
  2. Nice little round up of 2022: Gaz

    Hello fanuc Gaz

    Hello Tumez Gaz
  5. I wonder if @Tell or @langers2k might be able to help? Gaz
  6. In other words, doesn't have a clue and can't confirm... +1 👍 - perhaps a large one Gaz
  7. Might be worth checking in with Pete, in case he can help you with the window, according to what the problem is: Ask in the Audio forum about the stereo: https://www.briskoda.net/forums/forum/7-skoda-audio-electronics-and-security/ Retrofitting cruise: @ApertureS might also be able to help? Have a good rummage on here and I reckon you'll find the answer to all three. Gaz
  8. Hello GHO Three very minor issues - certainly not enough on their own to trade down what is a brilliant model 😎 Gaz
  9. Yep, I'm thinking the same as ords: Which mostly relates to the 2.0's, but is worth a read. Gaz
  10. Isn't it physically visible?: Taken from here: Gaz
  11. Does this help? - there's a part number in the title: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/394387679667?chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=710-134428-41853-0&mkcid=2&mkscid=101&itemid=394387679667&targetid=1814673647262&device=c&mktype=pla&googleloc=9045159&poi=&campaignid=19089547614&mkgroupid=142438599285&rlsatarget=pla-1814673647262&abcId=9303859&merchantid=675116239&gclid=CjwKCAiA76-dBhByEiwAA0_s9a2YqQb4lSbagrewO9dmtlKJM85SvbGx4T2f17ZuhWA-kjTYI-o4pBoC3PkQAvD_BwE Gaz
  12. The like's not for the chance of you dying, but getting back in the harness. My bikes have not moved for about three weeks and I'm turning into a house cat/amorphous blob. Whenever I get a chesty cough, I find a hard ride really helps, so that when you're (I'm) gasping for breath a coughing fit can really help clear muck off my chest. With the obvious risk of a good puke if I overdo it and wretch 🙄 Gaz
  13. Hi

    Hello and welcome Jack Gaz
  14. Hello Neil A proper spare wheel is probably the best first thing you could acquire 👍 Hopefully you'll never need it, but you'll be glad of it if ever you do. I can only remember needing a spare perhaps twice in 40+ years of driving, but both times I'd have been marooned if all I had was a can of gunk and a pump to rely on. Gaz
  15. Lovely photography! 👍 Gaz
  16. My 7.5 230 GTI has heated leather front seats which I much prefer to the vRS seats (2015 standard 220).. I've also got a pano roof - no problems so far. Gaz
  17. Soak it in a releasing agent. Bit of heat might help? Can you force a 'wrong' sized marginally smaller spanner on it? A BSW or AF perhaps? Stillsons, or a self tightening wrench? Could you file it to accept two sides of an open ended spanner? Weld a good nut on to it? Hammer and chisel to shock it around anti-clockwise? Grind the entire head off, and then replace it? Gaz
  18. The battery was at 12.04v at 1pm, so after 17 hours. I stalled it while freeing off the brakes and it started again fine,, not slow or lethargic. It was 11°C at the time. I'm not expecting miracles, it is what it is, and will no doubt need looking after if it's to survive. In normal times, my friend has a five mile commute to work, mostly 30mph and in traffic. But at 720A it's a fair size battery for a 1.2. That we have 12v is a positive sign as to the cells. Time will tell. I'll update if anything exciting happens, either way. I'm quite pleased to have even got it this far. Gaz
  19. Took it off charge at 8pm last night. At 1pm today..... Lights: Camera...... Action: Came as a pleasant surprise 😎 Checked the levels, ran it up to temperature and let condensation out of the exhaust. Moved it (brakes let go quite easily) and remembered to leave the handbrake off this time 😁 Gaz
  20. G'day Ron Gaz
  21. Very nice of you to ask Mike 👍 I'll suggest it, but as I type I suspect it'll overextend what we can fit in. Charging has started to drop off: So I've turned it off for the night. Might see what happens with a bit of charging on the 'morrow, but I might also give it the requisite 12 hours and see what gives with the ol' Juke of Earl. Provided it stops piddling down 🙄 Gaz
  22. We're coming up to The Wirral in January to see friends who've just emigrated up to Ellesmere Port. I'd try, but I can't guarantee they'll still be warm by the time we get there - or Manchester Thought I'd make my apologies now. G
