Both my current GTI, and previous vRS (both DQ250's) will drop a cog as I change into Sport mode to bring the revs up. It's what I expect them to do. Our DQ200 Polo GTI also does the same. Gaz

Selling them with the tyres on might also reduce the risk of damage while in transit.

Both our TSI's only ever have Momentum in them, with the rare exception of if it's not available. I had a tank of 95 Ron three years ago in Italy, and I'm certain I could notice a difference, not perhaps when pootling, but when under load. It had a tank of Esso Supreme (99) recently when Tesco was closed and I couldn't notice any difference (except in my wallet - think it was £1.99pl). Gaz

Early days and nothing much to report really. The battery hasn't been charged since 19th December and is still starting the car fine. The car is sorned, so isn't being driven, just started and warmed through, so the battery will of course still gradually deteriorate. I've just realised I've got two small solar pv units sitting out in the garage doing nothing, so I might go and connect them up. Gaz
