Agree with everyone else. That's not for repairing in my opinion. Regardless of whether it's holding air, the tyre is damaged and structurally compromised. A potential blow-out waiting to happen. Gaz

I'm 197cm and my mk1 Superb was, well, superb. Why not see, and try them both, then make a decision from there. I've beed pleasantly surprised by the 1.0 engines, but that's only been short tests, don't know how they'd feel loaded up, or living with, long term. Gaz

Nah, and I don't think I will either. The vRS had a Revo Stage 1, which put it just north of 300bhp, and could be entertaining. But the Golf seems quite nicely balanced as it is and I don't feel like i'm missing out. G

Agree with George - possibly a spring if it's that noticeable a drop. Could be one of several things though, so needs checking. Best to be aware that according to what's happened, the car might not be roadworthy, which may have an adverse effect on your insurance. Tyres all okay and at the right pressure? Gaz
