I worked in the motor trade, parts side for 9 years. If I told you how much I used to sell 200 ltr oil orders for, you wouldn't believe me. Some oil filters have a motor factor cost of about £1.20, sell to to trade £4/5 and RRP £12. To the end user. . If you also take into account the total amount of oil national orders every year, they will get huge discount.

The locks on every brand are rubbish. All the ones I know off that got nicked were Thules. The barrels where on the ground.

Don't forget to get a security wire to secure it to the towing hook on the car. I've had many a friend had them stolen when out on rides.

The one in the original photo looks like most of it is alloy and the second one looks mostly steel. I would think there would be a big difference in weight.

I got them with mine.

Can you post a picture of the part and it's position if possible. -
Make sure you get 12mm rear discs and not 10mm. When I Ordered my discs, it was a joke what some places were listing. I ended up buying Lucas discs in the end due to price and the dimensions were exactly what is listed OE.

I saw one at a campsite near Eurodisney at the start of the summer hols. I had no idea what is was at first till I had a good look, I thought the sportline badge was nicked of another car. I does look good in the flesh.

What's the best place to get rear brake calipers from?

My car did that too, the little brake pipes are about £19 each. -

Having worked for a motor factors in the past, steering racks were never packed great. It was always just a generic box with no padding inside and they just rattled about. The chance of the rack or the end being damaged is probably less than 1%, just think of the stress and knocks a rack goes through when fitted to a car. I would get them to give you there opinion in writing to give you reassurance and fit the rack. -
have a look at piper Motorsport facebook page. What they have done with a merc 190e and a C63. These guys gave some guts.

No point Changing the brakes for 10bhp. If the brakes can handle the weight of the diesel vrs, they could easy cope with another 30bhp from the petrol.

What model us the car. The rear bumper looks similar to a vrs with the two exhaust outlets. -
Oh no, there being bought by supermarket managers. The cars are doomed lol.

I got a pair of callipers from eBay. These were brand new not re-con for about £180 if I remember. Will look up my history and get to you. You can also buy repair kits for them too, includes new piston, seal dust covers for about £10.

I never buy a car with one key, no matter who's selling the car. Loads of cars have been stolen that way over the past few years.

There's a video on YouTube, I found it by chance about 2 years ago. I've looked for it but can't seem to find it.

What I mean is, there is not actual LSD in the gear box. What the cars you mention from previous post have a type of breaking system on each shaft, outside the gear box, this has nothing to do with diff. That is more of a traction control than a diff. Don't get me wrong I'm not saying it doesn't work, I just don't like the fact they are lead people to think the cars actually have a LSD.
