Clamp plates & tensioning nuts. Pretty easy to be honest ;)

Let the testing commence :drive:

I hope it's as easy as that on the Leon then - same chassis so should be!

Great Geoff!

But be careful..I found that there was very little meat around the edge of the turret wall, thus it was prone to move. I found they shifted and would "Rock" under load. In a production version i can design plates for the job, that will fit perfect.

For best test i think of a Fast bummpy back road........not likely to feel much differance on smoth tarmac.

Have Fun

Hi Ron

I hope so but i never been in the boot of a Leon, any chanceof a photo or 2?

Cheers

Mike

Did a test run earlier, but there was a fair bit of traffic about :grumpy:

However when i did get a chance to push on a bit, the car feels even more stable thru the bends than with just the complete front set-up ;)

Hopefully saturday will be a better day for testing :drive:

Willdo Mike.

Didn't get a chance to fit it to any other cars though (time / weather) but it certainly works

Ok, Geoff

I spend tomorrow designing up a production version, please feel free to pass the prototype on to TAv or who ever. What i need is an idea of how many would be intrested in a production version?

Than i can cost a batch.

Cheers

Mike

Mike, shall do.

Put my name top of the list ;)

Tust me, I'm a nutter :D............

Jon,

YHPM ;)

I would be veyy interested in getting my pinkies on one of these! From the photos it looks like a really good piece of kit.

Geoff, if your still on for meeting up on friday I'll remove the carpets from the rear turrets from mine and compare against yours if that's ok. If they're the same then stick my name down aswell....
