Auto Express Greatest drives 2004

Featured Replies

Hi guys

Check out this weeks Auto Express for their Greatest drives 2004 and find the furby vRS in 15th place out of 25 - only one place behind the Civic type R but ahead of BMW Z4 3.0, Renault Clio 182 & Megane RS as well as many others. Only two diesels were included the other being the BMW 330Cd - but the furby was voted "Surprise of the day."

We already know what a great car the furby vRS is - cause we own one!!!!

Cheers

smart barbus roadster though, gokart on wheels. Perhaps not that quick but bet its fun to drive :)

101 bhp, 0-60 9.8 not bad, though expensive smart cars imo

Nice to see we are ahead of the Monaro, Take a hint Vauxhall we don't like your big American cars that are wheeled over here with A RHD Dash and a new Badge, Vauxhall Sintra Anyone?, AKA Pontiac Montana, Chevrolet venture, Oldsmobile silluhette, shall i carry on?

I mean have they seen our fuel prices, We don't like 5.0+ Litre engines here thankyou very much!

I thought the Monaro was Australian.

Anyway thats a really good showing for the Fabia IMO.

Tell that to Vauxhall al la Clarkson about the Vectra! They tried to ban him from their cars at one point!

In a summary there is the readers rating from four testers (keen drivers). It says, "When asked to name the surprise of the day, Sid, Lou, Paul and Neil all plumped for the Fabia. 'This cannot be a diesel' enthused Lou. 'It drives so well'. Sid backed that up by saying: 'I'm staggered that I've had so much fun in a

A bit over priced! That should have been

At least skoda didnt feel the need to give the journies a "tweeked" car to compare with... the standard car is fine ;)

Yes, but it started life as the Pontiac GTO (American), god only knows how many million of other Brands, Models and Countries it's under :)

No, Pontiac imports the Monaro from Holden with a different grill/bumper and left hand drive.
