here are the components that make up the top mounting

tom. the big black plate with the two studs in, is the center part of that welded in square or or is it slightly off to one side?

the HP ones are handed and are slightly squiff.

  • Author

it's central, i suggest that maybe the offset mouting on the hp's is too correct the caster angle slightly

Very nice Tom

:rubchin: now it's time to start thinking about the rears

The rears should be relatively straight forward by comparison, especially if the spring is separate from the shock.

  • Author

no such luck, the rears are integrated with the springs as well

i have a set of bilstine rears. they require a little modding to the turret mind, but there super beefy.

out of intrest. whats the over all hight of the shock un loaded?

depends where you set the height on the adjusting rings:confused:

Very nice, but dherez wun littl t'ing worrying me Mr Chief Suspect, "I'm pretty sure your welding has done something to the heat treatment of the screw section on the damper body, if not to the adjuster lock rings themselves.
