Looks well nice.

Nice....

A good advert for the 4X4, although I wouldn't have sullied its looks with a vRS front bumper...

Wheels are nice. Only things I think need changing to the looks are, colour coded rear bumper inserts and front mudflaps.

That looks fully pimpin' I'm lovin' it (ba da bap ba baaaaa) sorry ;)

Very smart.

Milotec carbon design B and C pillar trims would look nice, smoked side repeaters are needed to complete the toned-down look, and the Elegance side badges need to go since they are a cheap and tacky way of advertising the car's relatively upmarket spec. I also think the Skoda bonnet badge should have stayed - or do you have problems with it and the Skoda image, EddyH?

Not sure the pillar trims are worth doing on a black car??

They are 'patterned' with silver/grey, Ian, so aren't as black as the rest of the car - and they look classy. Our new member from Denmark with the cayenne Fabia Estate has them and they look really good on his car. I wouldn't have advised fitting the Skoda vinyl pillar trims which I know you have because the effect of those would have been wasted. I'll post pics of my Milotec ones once when I get around to fitting them.

cool

FYI - they are trying to get a forge groupbuy together on

Thanks for the positive comments. :)

Stuart J - Smoked repeaters are already on order and I've got some floss to remove the elegance badges, just need to get round to it.

Faboka - The bump strips are being colour coded and front mudflaps are on order.

DGW - See above, also not sure about these carbon bits you mention are they real carbon fibre and offer some sort of weight saving by replacing or are they halfords style stick on stuff? ;) Also skoda badges aren't removed just smoked in black magic they are totally visible in daylight, just not as 'bling'.

Alex - Thanks for the tip I'll have a look but I get discount on Forge products anyway.

At last someone who appreciates the stylish virtues of a black estate over the hatch. Looks the dogs dangly bits IMO.... ;)

No more 'Hearse' comments please. Now just needs a vRS spoiler on the back to finish it off...

Jimmy - Could you point me to any pics of the vRS spoiler?

I'm also planning on having the roofbars painted silver similar to estates from other manufacturers.

Eddy,

If I get time tomorrow when I get back from work (currently in Glos but live in N East) I'll take a piccie or 2 of the spoiler and post it up for ya....

Just found an old post when I had my wheels fitted. There's a piccie of the rear of the car. It's not very clear but will give you something to go on for now anyway...

I thought about the vRS Estate spoiler but, as it includes the high level brake lights and the rear washer jet, plumbing and electrics could be problematic.

I prefer the "pagani" style split spolier for the estate that did the rounds some time ago.. if I ever give up the stealth.

Jimmy - Nice looking car, hard to make my mind up on the spoiler from that pic though.

Tavia4x4 - I'll have a search for the spoiler you mention.

That certainly would take away the stealth element! :D

I've managed to source a full Recaro interior, I should be collecting it tonight and I hope to have it fitted by the weekend! :D

This guy just doesn't stop!!

Quite a few mods are from my old Golf and having got used to the support Recaros provide in that I really miss them in the Octavia so had to find a set asap.

BTW. not fully explored the forum yet but are there regular meets around the country?
