illegal?

Not illegal in Finland.Has the same technology as in the new Audi A4 with day driving lights. The daydriving lights can be installed in any car as you wish as long as the position of the lights are correct.

From where did you get them? Looks nice btw

looks menacing :)

That looks the dogs. :D I like.

have you replaced the upper grille as well with mesh?, and if so how do you open the bonnet release?

Yes I have both up and down. You open the bonnet normally, just stick your hand behind the grill and pull the release.Very easy!

I must say I o not really like them. Also makes you look like one of those muppets who drive around everywhere with their front fog lights on!!!!!

But each to their own.

illegal?

If it was i think Audi will be in a bit of trouble!!!!

Cheers

Dave.

Thanks for all comments!

The police stopped me the first day with led lights on, but didn`t have anything to say because the lights are CE certified and legal.

It looks like a "my car goes faster with the fog lights on" setup that we see from muppets as soon is gets dark here in the UK. Awful!

And you ain't seen nothing yet. Round here virtually every car that has fog lights has them on non stop because "it's cool".

Sorry, but if you came the opposite way to me with your "fogs" on you would get a blast of full beam and the finger... one of my pet hates... maybe it's different here in UK...

I always mouth "where's the fog?" when I see someone...

Well better get use to them.... Daylights are going to be a legal requirement in the EU on all new cars from 2011: New cars to have day-time lights

how will we be able to recognise the Vulva's from 2011?

Yes they are in the foglights but it's not a new thing for sidelights etc... to be in the foglight housing.... Ford s-max and new facelift minis to name just two. These are only 3 LED day lights so i would think in reality won't be too bright. I've seen plenty of pics of cars with LED sidelights that look very bright in photos.

I had photo's of our old IS200 and CTR which both had LED's for sidelights.... They looked really bright in photo's but in the flesh they were just like any others.

Cheers

Dave.

They looked bright to me... nevermind...

I was generally talking about fog lights... 'sidelights' I can cope with:rofl:

I have nothing against road legal DRL's, it's fogs that I was ranting about too.

I usually ask the same question... and then give them a £30 ticket:rofl:

i got given the bird by one driver yesterday when i flashed my front fogs at him and pointed at his front fogs. thinking he might not know they were on. it was a lovely sunny day too!!

Talking of which why is Skoda so mean as to not give us a front fog light indicator on the dashboard? Or is that standard across VAG?

the front fog light indicator is actually on the light switch/dial. as the car was originally designed as a LHD it could be seen to the left side of the switch, but on RHD the left side of the switch is obscured by the steering wheel.
