Hi there. I've been looking for a Skoda forum for some time, and finally came across Briskoda, and registered immediately. Great site, lots of useful info. and some really good threads.

Just swapped my 1.8T 4X4 hatchback (screams of horror?) for the new model Octavia 1.9 TDi (1.8T was turning out too expensive to run, and also

had some problems with the ARB noises, which just wouldn't go away, and the warrenty was running out). New one's not bad, though still trying to get used to a diesel.

Time to browse other forums. Cheers

Yup this is a UK spec car, brought from a genuine Skoda dealer - went in for something else and got sweet-talked into exchanging my 4X4 for the new model.
