Everyone Must Read This

Featured Replies

Other than me no one has posted in this forum for over 24hrs. This used to be the busiest forum. Whats going on??? Perhaps the moderators transfer too much to specific forums now?

I'm not aware of many threads being moved. Most threads seem to start in The Lounge now though. Maybe we dont need both anymore if this isn't being used ?

I have had several threads moved from here to other forums in the last couple of weeks. Always disconcerting when it happens.

I know how you feel, it happens to me sometimes.

And here goes...

@@~~~###?;;

It's lamp post treacle at work.

Briskoda General : Main community boards. Feel free to post what you wish about Skoda issues. But don't abuse it, use the Lounge for that.

Can you not read?

IS there a way to abuse the lounge? :D

Jonno.

I'm sure you could think of a way. As long as you don't mind your posts disappearing :D

Can you not read?

A bit harsh Q.

I'm sure you could think of a way. As long as you don't mind your posts disappearing :D

oooh, Jane you are naughty. :D

See you at trax ;)

Jonno.

Pardon me and please excuse my usual I.T. ignorance here, but what does William mean about nobody posting in this forum for 24 hrs? The Lounge??

If my eyes arn't decieving me that is where this thread is posted isn't it?

Anyway, does it really matter? As long as it appears on the 24hr listings we can all read it ,or go into the archives, can't we, no matter which forum it was posted on originally. Or am I ignorantly missing the point here. If so, someone enlighten this numpty please!

This thread was originally in Briskoda General, but Q moved it into the Lounge.

Not sure it makes sense now though - might move it back again :D

I still think Q's comment was a bit OTT.

But does it matter? Obviously... to me anyway...William seems a bit unhappy about it, but I'm really struggling to understand why...honest.

I don't even notice half the time which forum a particular thread has been posted in...just as long as it's actually there is what seems most important to me.

Really feel like I'm missing some crucial point here.

Bloody computers.........hate them!

Sound like Peter now!! :D

I still think Q's comment was a bit OTT.

I'm sorry you feel that way, but those descriptions serve a purpose.

Tis a bit easy to post in the wrong forum..

T'would be a boring place if we were all perfect 100% of the time.

William, i have no idea what the stats for Briskoda General are, but i'm sure you're always welcome to seek out appropriate pics & info and post them in that forum :)

Wooow boy,

I am not unhappy about posts being moved. Just I felt that before there was such a proliferation of specific forums the General forum was more lively, and more lively than any of the specialised forums are now. I also can not help but think that it is hard to think of a subject that is so general, but still skodaish enough not to be either moved to the lounge or one of the specific forums.

Always happy to review the description and roles of the forums.

Like the tides the posting rates between forums varies.

The mods do alot of post moving to try and preserve the feel of a forum, it not only aides searching and alike it makes our analysis of what is working and not much easier.

Please use the feedback forum or contact form (below) to suggest anything and everything.

I only look at specific forums when I'm starting a new thread.

After that I just hit my bookmark for "new posts" and read whatever has arrived since I last posted.

Same here doc. Wonder what forum tracey's last post should be in :D

Jonno.
