Stolen Recoverd Octavis vRS II on ebay

Featured Replies

The plate was left on the car.

Yikes, I'd have had that back to sell on.

Yes but these things cost money and various people on here have struggled to sell VRS registrations. Not worth the risk.:)

RPM: 7265 /min

am i right in thinking he was at 7265 revs to void the warranty?

Yes, but to trigger the warranty void message that needs to be maintaned for a set period of time. The Rev limiter is somewhere just over 7K rpm.

The warranty void part of it is put in by our friends at Ross Tech.;)

The scroats were more likely trying to blow it up, rather than voiding a warranty. They arent that smart ;)

It must be horrible seeing your car return in this way; especially when the seller seems to be trying to play down any issues with the car.

I experienced a similar thing when my original fabia vrs turned up for sale on here a couple of months ago once it had been repaired. Despite declaring that it had been placed in a certain category for its involvement in an rta, I felt the seller was trying to play down the extent to which it had been damaged.

I hate people not being 100% honest about cars' histories.

i think that is what hedge is waiting for is for the new owner to appear on here (think it has briskoda stickers on it) and i beleive he will then tell the owner about its colourful past.

It wont have the stickers when sold on ;)

im sure sooner or later one of us will spot it somewhere ;)
