Do the wheels look bigger in the metal?

And is it in Preston or Colne?

This post is useless without pics! ;)

Are you going to switch the wheels for Pro Race 1.2s? :D

Last I heard Colne had got fed up of Ants and sent him back to Preston :P;)

I find that difficult to believe. Next to mine I wouldn't give it a second look.

It's at Preston. The wheels look good but they looked better without the centre covers on.

And andy2407, can't believe you've tracked me down again! Remember the court order please!:P

Ah, cool cool :)

I'll pop in and have a gander then!

Whats the range of differences between this and a normal vRS ?

I can see the leather seats, alloys, steering wheel and the addition of a new colour..

That's about it; apart from the fact that the spec is fixed and you can't get useful options like Xenons and Parking sensors.

Those alloys look like they'll kerb pretty easily.

Steering wheel looks cr*p and isn't multi-function, which is a pity.

Looks like the instruments are slightly different as well perhaps??

I like it, i think it looks great, Like the seats, Can't wait. no steering wheel controls is a bit disappointing. The dealer is fitting rear sensors for me as a dealer option rather than factory. (won't show up on radio display however).:D:D

I LOVE those seats - they look so much more serviceable than the standard VRS.

Apart from that, I'm glad I bought standard. Zenith wheels are a king to those, steering wheel and dash look to be retrograde steps which don't belong in the sports version, and the colour again is too staid for a VRS, although it's difficult to think what would have been better to make it stand out as the Limited Edition version. Much prefer Black Magic or Race Blue, or even the flying banana, come to that.

Arent the steering wheel and the dash the same as the current VRS?

Has the 09 style interior/instruments/radio.and 08 exterior (except paint and alloys)(as i understand it, never had a skoda before so am no expert.) The Petrol engine is the one for the 09 range lower CO2 etc.

Si

i guess the facelifted in 6months will be nicer...

Went and had a look at it.

Didn't particularly like the wheels, and they look small with that inside 'rim'. Wasn't too keen on the colour either I'm afraid.

Liked the seats though. They seemed more padded than the standard seats.

I thought that the interior had changed a lot more, only really the instruments which are now lit in white rather than green on the 'old' vRS, and the centre dash area.

Looked at a 'standard' new Octavia with the new lights and bumpers in the showroom. It will be interesting to see what they do to the vRS when they eventually facelift the outside.

Thanks did't know the instruments now light up white, think i prefer that to green.
