Just spoke to Newbury Seat and was quoted £22.63 for the splitter

Was told by skoda I need to replace my front axle bushes as the insides of my front tyres are waring. The quote to have them fitted was about £175 IIRC.

Are there any good, cheap alternatives to the skoda ones?

EDIT: Are these the same as 'console bushes' (the ones listed) if so my bad. How much would be reasonable for fitting if I bought the parts from a seat dealer?

Will post individual prices when I collect the parts as they had to be ordered in.

Seat Momo Front Strut Brace For £56 Including VAT. This is remarkable baring in mind people are selling these for £74.99 on eBay.

Just had a quote today (22/2/2016), for pd160 air intake trumpet and pipe: 6LL 129 621:  £21.97 plus vat   &  6LL 129 618:  £90.06 plus vat, ****in crazy !

Hardly surprising. This is a car that stopped production many years ago.

 

I don't know how many Cupra they made in total, but they won't have had thousands of spares of the intake pipe that's specific to the Cupra model.

 

As their stocks go down, prices go up.
