Too right robmawer! When I bought my Golf GTi I asked the dealer what he was prepared to "throw in" if I purchased the car. He said that if I took finance from him he would fit mud flaps all round and include some rubber mats. If I paid cash then I would have to pay for my own flaps and mats! I think the Fabia vRS is so popular at the moment that they really can afford to turn you away wiith your wheelbarrow full of cash.

None of the dealers were playing ball, had a nightmare today and I needed the car to go through quickly, also Drivethedeal said that the dealer they found would drive the car to me and not bring it on a lorry so it would have 200 miles on it when i got it!!! So chucked that idea.

I'm putting together a nice little list of first month mods already, parking sensors (depending on how they look on the vrs bumpers), cruise and a nice sound system

Some dealers are reputed to retrofit cruise, but I don't know if anyone on here had had it done by a dealer.

Big K probably has more experiance than any dealer at retrofiting cruise control or as we call it round these part KK
