I need to get 2 new tyres now, so I have kind of decided now maybe a good time to change the standard elegance alloys to something else. The current alloys have quiet a lot of pitting and one has some kerbing marks.

Now what to get, I want something thats going to be relativly easy to keep clean. They will be 18" as opposed to the current 16", and replicas as I cannot afford proper ones. I have narrowed it down to these 3.

1) Audi RS6

2) Golf R32

3) New Audi RS4

The R32 ones maybe a little fussy, but what do you all think would look ok on a Sahara Beige Estate.

If purchased from here, I will not be using the crap tyres they normally use but will upgrade to a better brand.

mmm, I have seen a new shape octy with the R32 on and it looked good mate, not as good as my mk1 lol but they are a bitch to clean mate! not sure what the RS4 ones would look like on the mk2? and the RS6 ones are a bit plain for me but easy to maintain, they did look ok on the mk1 vRS if you wanted a simple look,

what sort of mula you lookini at spendin?

RS6 - Done to death

Golf 5 R32 - Not bad

RS4 - Better

MK2 S3 - Even better, not seen em on a Octavia 2 but I'd bet they would look cool.

For me it's the RS6 - don't like the new RS4 and the R32 is too fussy.

I guess it's all down to personal taste (even if it is bad!!) :)

I've seen a guy around here with some 17" BBS that looked almost identical to these and I can't believe how good it looked. Chased the man around town till he stopped somewhere to look at the wheels some more.

I prefer the official Skoda, ones that I think come with the VRS. Christ the skoda accessories site is ****ing useless or I would show you a picture.

For me whichever is the easiest to clean- as few spokes and fiddly bits as possible without looking awful.

lmfao that is some hard core photoshopping :)

RS6 on an estate for me I think

Or some BBS if your feeling flush :D

Cheers

Damian

Regarding Tyres, I am absolutely loving the Avon ZZ3's I opted for

Fantastic Tyres at a very very reasonable price (and the tread pattern looks stunning)

Edited by damo :-)

1548wu.jpg makes the car look like an audi, though not a bad thing and they look OEM where as the RS4 alloys you could never imagine arriving on the car

Have you looked at the 17" Pegasus ones ?

Those R32 wheels do indeed look too busy.

RS6 look good on the estate, tried a set on my MK1 and they were huge!! (Too big)

I really like the RS6 ones. The R32's are a bit fussy IMO but look great on an R32 as are the new RS4s.

I wonder what size those RS6 ones are, they look like they could be 19" as the car seems to have rubber band tyres.

Could someone do a quick photoshop and change the colour of the car so its sort of gold in colour and raise the ride height a tad to a more normal level.

Τhank you very much.I love it.:):):):thumbup::thumbup:

Don't like.

They do look very low profile so perhaps they are 19"s.
